  • @m7j23s53 I can tell the difference but it is a slight difference I don't mind either but prefer SP

  • @m7j23s53 If you can't tell the difference there is something wrong. Steve perry is MUCH BETTER!!

  • R.I.P Kenny

  • I had my stereo in my car with Journey all the time too, b/c they were my favorite band at the time. I still have a place for them along with the Doors and Zeppelin.

  • Vision Quest

  • When I get a car soon for high school, the only music I'm gonna play loud with the windows down is Journey to show my passion for Journey in front of ghetto people and rockers.

  • The Best SONG EVER!! XD

  • great song! <3

  • love this thumbs up if you do to

  • @sandyjdmbk3 then stop listening to it bio. pia get a life.

  • my favorite song -_-

  • this song is epic so if you dislike anything about it than you are a communist and the terrorists win

  • I heard this was the inspiration to the Aftershock theme from Jet Moto 2.

    I must say. Awesome.

  • Journey, you either hate it a lot (like 6 people), or love it to death (like me)

  • my fav journey song

  • ugh this song is so like 80's nostalgic

  • @swiftymiles HOW IS THAT A BAD THING??????????????!??!?!?! ID LOVE TO BE THERE RIGHT NOW. 1979 too

  • @AIRmaxGMAILG2 lol i love the damn song but i hate nostalgia so sad for an unexplainable reason lol

  • @BlueEyedM1819 You know my friend...You've got to take the bad with the good! Cheers

  • @BlueEyedM1819 "Vision Quest"...The ONLY "jock" movie Ever made that was worth a shit! (with a Killer soundtrack! Dio, Hagar, Don Henley, Berlin, Red Rider, and of course Journey)

  • Quality!

  • 6 people are old

  • frick yes.

  • My name's Louden, Louden Swain. Last week I turned 18. I wasn't ready for it. I haven't done anything yet. So I made this deal with myself. This is the year I make my mark.

  • @dps83189 Hope you're keeping up with your promise. It's pretty easy to lose inspiration after a couple of weeks

  • @dps83189 I luv u for puttin that up man. I'm 38 & I can't seem to let go of this movie. Louden is a modern day hero. He doesn't need to scream to the rafters what his dream is. He puts his head down, keeps his nose to the grindstone & puts in the work.

  • The official song of running and high school wrestlers everywhere.

  • Dude, thanks for this great audio & interesting video. But, what's the deal with all the devil pictures ? They usually had the Egyptian imagery rather than the headshop or local liquour store imagery. But great effort . THanks.

  • Great song...much better audio quality than other postings of it. Not sure what's with the dark themed grim reaper images though...for such an uplifting song??

  • @ipsofacto297 it was just filler as it was the first lyric video i did i had to do a lot of filling

  • @ipsofacto297 well the song dose say hell. but only once and the grim reaper appears like 5 times

  • Journey hit #9 in Billboard, 3-23-85. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great week!

  • @DaveWollenberg Are you like the Billboard Patrol? I swear I've seen you comment on like 999,999 vids on here. So and so hit # blah on June blahh, 19eightyblah...,

  • @kcmet79 I've been referred to, as the modern-day Casey Kasem, which I consider to be a compliment. There are other chart enthusiasts like myself, here in America!

  • I just learned my dad had this on his USB he uses to play music in the car. My mom has the car now, so I'm listening to it here. When I first heard this song on his USB device, I was like "That's ONE more song I'm looking for.

  • beautiful

  • This is a great song to drive to. Roll down the windows, crank it up and ride!

  • @mimidec67 I agree completely! I was looking to download this song for our road trip to and around the Black Hills in a few weeks.

  • for anyone who didnt kno this journey wrote this song for a boy in the 70's had cancer and the boy wanted to see journey b4 he passed away and journey went to see him in the hosptial and wrote this song for him

  • Vision Quest

  • As probably the Oldest to make a comment here...I'm 64...like a Beatle song. Journey has always been a favorite group...with wonderful sounds, voices, and makes me remember my YOUNGER YEARS...thanks to everyone who doesn't mind admitting ONLY THE YOUNG is Inspirational.

  • @freeamericausa1 That is the the thing about music. It doesn't matter who you are, if it moves you then its relevant. "Paul Potts"

  • I loveeeee this song

  • A melhor musica do Journey....

  • Great song! Take's me back to Guam in 1985 when I was there.

  • this song was dedicated to a kid who had cystic fibrosis and was a big journey fan but the sad thing is he died the next day after meeting them and hearing his song. it affected the band in a big way

  • @zachbaube That is a very heartfelt story...though I already knew, it really made me cry thinking about how lucky that kid was...he will rest in peace knowing he saw journey in person... :')

  • LOVE the song , not really liking the skeleton image in the mix.

  • I heard this song on Vision Quest. I listen to it before I have a wrestling match. Now that my Junior year is over and I'm almost out of high school and my last year as a wrestler is approaching, I look back in my life and I almost cry because I will miss everything but mostly wrestling. Great song.

  • three people are in their 80's and wear depends.

  • this is music!

  • is steve perry still alive?

  • @amsterdammara i would assume so without searching it on google i believe he is still relatively young?

  • @GBchzhead steve is alive he's 62 years old

Journey was a trip back to all theit best songs except for 3 new ones. the whole concert was awesome, the best money ive spent ever in a concert.

  • @saucyonePR Arnel aint bad i like a lot of his music it just dont feel the same as old school journey im that way about a lot of originals though :)

  • @GBchzhead I totally get what your saying. But when there is nothing else 2nd best would just have to suffice lol!

  • @saucyonePR haha sometimes it does others it doesn't haha good post though hard to argue the logic :)

  • Steve Perry's voice MADE Journey.

  • Journey ROCKS!!! Love this song.

  • Journey ROCKS!!! Love this song. Actually I love most of most of their songs.

  • Love this song , I love Journey :D

  • This transports me instantly back to 15 years old and the nite me and my buddy saw Vision Quest in the theater. Makes me feel so alive. Long live the 80's.

  • If you don't like these classic Journey songs you're dead inside.

  • nice haha

  • Well thank you GBchzhead for sharing one of Journey's best!

  • @dedrastambaugh of course

  • Excellent song!

  • Guys, I think he means R.I.P like, "We miss you from Journey". If not, then yeah, he's friggin' retarded.

  • Beautiful song...why ruin it with the gay skeletons?

  • @rocko6571 easy its my video if u dont want them there than create ur own videos

  • @GBchzhead I like the skulls and skeletons

  • @rocko6571 you seriously are saying the skulls ruin this song? kid nothing can

  • @Queentallicamaiden AMEN!!!

  • @GBchzhead no no wait. i agree. those gay skeletons are too gross and queer and i'm fully distracted from this moderately hideous song. discuss.

  • @rocko6571 ...Yeah really.....theres always someone demonizing everything......theres always someone making everything luciferian.....PISS ON THE DEMON.

  • whats with the random skeleton with an axe

  • @zblamm2121 it's a filler for the breaks in the vocals =)

  • my fav Journey song--love it

  • makes me feel young again.

  • How many people know the story of Kenny Sykaluk, the first person outside the band to hear this?

  • Journey is the best I sing this song all the time.

  • one movie and one movie only visionquest

  • i luv journey

  • what year did this song came out in?

  • @mexicore2007 1985

  • What a voice !! I love the intro to this song.

Steve Perry has a brilliant voice, he can really carry a note. I also like the lyrics and actually they are pretty much true !

  • This is one of those songs that I can listen to over & over again & yet I never get tired of hearing it. To me, Journey's music is timeless, and it's one of the reasons why they are one of my fav bands of all times.

  • the tune reminds me of logans run

  • This song was written in honor of a young boy dying of cancer. The boy was a big fan of Journey and the band made a personal visit. They were inspired by this boy's story. Absolutely one of the best songs.

  • Actually,,jruganis... This song was Journeys newest song.. the boys mother wrote to them becuz they were his fav. band. So they brought a copy with them to the hospital and they let the boy hear it before anyone else out there heard it.. and so now they call it the boys song. After the boy heard it.. then Journey dedicated it to the boy. the boy died less than 24 hours later. I forgot the boys name.. but they now call it his song. But not before.. it was just their newest song at the time.

  • Very cool!!!!

  • good video. thanks for posting. i've been looking for a video of this song with the lyrics

  • Thanx for posting this...SP's soaring vocals make this song. Can't think of another singer who could carry this off!

I went to a friends house last week after a grotty week at work, as I walked in the door, she put this on for me and it washed away all the stress!

  • I must have played this video tonight about... literally 50 times.

IT JUST GETS ME HIGH WITHOUT THE DRUGS!

  • ...Reminds me of Vision Quest. I'm a geek, and I still love that movie. Definately one of Journey's best.

  • im with you on that one. i ooved that movie growing up. it motivated me to push for things i wanted.

  • You aint no geek , your cool and correct in your comment about the film !!

  • @Grayndle watch it last night on stars channel for the 125th time

  • this song makes me wanna smoke a bone

  • LOVE this song! thanks for posting!

  • I always remember this from the behind the music when Journey visit the sick kid in the hospital,he was the first person to hear this song, and they said he was in 7'th heaven after hearing it,it is a very special song, just something about it,and that does not happen much in music anymore.

  • wow, that's cool and inspiring.

  • One of Journeys best
