I am a second generation Pashtun in the United States and it is sad to see Rahim Sha adapting to the Punjabi culture so much. However, I've been born and raised in the West, and I too have adapted the cultures, language and food of the Americans. If Afghanistan was not in the situation it is now, we would not have Afghans spread out to 70 different countries. I am sad that I do not know what the Pashtoon culture is and how to practive it :(

@niazi16 there are more pushtons living in pakistan than in afghanistan although proportionally there are more pushtons in afghanistan, 99% of pushtons in pakistan are not refugees but are indigenous to that area they even keep their own language surely you should be happy by that. BTW the reason why afghnistan hasnt produced any great things musically is cuz of taliban who monitor them they still pose a huge influence especially for women so pushtons express themselves in more liberal Pakistan

I am a second generation Pashtun in the United States and it is sad to see Rahim Sha adapting to the Punjabi culture so much. However, I've been born and raised in the West, and I too have adapted the cultures, language and food of the Americans. If Afghanistan was not in the situation it is now, we would not have Afghans spread out to 70 different countries. I am sad that I do not know what the Pashtoon culture is and how to practive it :(

@niazi16 we pashtuns make up pakistan. pashtuns are not all just afghanis. rahim shah is a pakistani, so theres nothing wrong in him singing in urdu (which isnt punjabi anyway). if you afghanis dont want to mix with punjabis (i dont know what problem you have with them in the first place) then please dont stop us pakistani pashtuns too!

@niazi16 there are more pushtons living in pakistan than in afghanistan although proportionally there are more pushtons in afghanistan, 99% of pushtons in pakistan are not refugees but are indigenous to that area they even keep their own language surely you should be happy by that. BTW the reason why afghnistan hasnt produced any great things musically is cuz of taliban who monitor them they still pose a huge influence especially for women so pushtons express themselves in more liberal Pakistan

This is not a good song. It's got Pashto lyrics but the style, tune and themes are very Punjabi. Pashtuns are a unique nation of 50 million souls with their own culture, language, way of life, interpretation of Islam, greetings, national heroes, etc, etc. In almost all cases, the heroes of the Pashtun nation (Khushal Khan, Bachaa Khan) are considered enemies by the other Pakistani nationalities.
