  • Hey Dave, sorry about being little off topic but I have a question. I know you're Youtube partner, I'm just wondering if you're partner do you get option to have better video quality after uploading to youtube? Do they offer anything that makes your video looks better than normal youtube account?

    Merry Christmas!

  • @SexyToshi Nothing different that I notice in the videos. If I upload an HD video, the options will be there to view for you folks to play it in low to hi res. So best to upload the highest quality videos you can for best results. Good luck and Merry Christmas to you also. ~NightFlyyer~

  • Merry Christmas!!!

  • Great Video as always! Merry Christmas Dave!

  • Merry Christmas Dave

  • @poppopscarvinshop You are very kind, and I appreciate your comments. Happy holidays to you also. ~NightFlyyer~

  • Are you not with not with nitroplanes any more?

  • @x7Chaosbullet Never was. I just did some independent reviews for them on my own before they had their own reviewers. Now I don't have to unless I see something really unusual or unique to buy and pass on to you.

  • Grandma got runned over by a raindeer is one of my favorite christmas songs, Merry christmas fellas!!!

  • @MrArii1998 Good ear. It was Jeff's choice. Merry Christmas back at you.

  • @NightFlyyer, Merry Christmas!

  • now upgrade them to brushless

  • "It goes clockwise!!!" LOL, I think it goes whatever direction you want to start spinning it... either clockwise or counter-clockwise.

  • @thechoosendude NOT TRUE! We tried and tried to fly CCW first. It is due to the rotor blades spinning ccw, making it want to turn right. IT wont fly counter clockwise.

  • Well at least no amputated fingers with this one... ;) Merry Christmas mr. Herbert!

  • Merry Christmas

  • Merry Christmas

  • Hi Dave,i have always had rc cars and boats. After watching your videos i'am thinking about switching to helis and maybe planes.I was looking at your transmitter in the video, looks like a spektrum.Which one do recommend for both helis, and planes.Thanks.and hope you have a very merry Christmas!

  • @celtickh Thanks kindly. I like the DX6i's the best. I have several, thus not depending on just 1 transmitter for 40 airplanes and helis. They are inexpensive and easy to use. Thanks for the comments and Merry Christmas to you also.

  • @NightFlyyer well, o went all in and got a blade msr x, i could not be happier, this little flybarless heli is just wonderful! and much easier to fly than i expected! but i have yet another question, it says on the blade website, that the tail and main motors are core less, is this an advantage?

  • That was cool! Merry Christmas...

  • Why did you buy 2 of the same exact minvans?

  • @FlyFrontier259 Haha. One is 1 year newer, which is the one I bought in So Cal. I bought the other one here in Iowa.

  • @NightFlyyer Visiting family in Coon Rapidds.

  • I have that phone too! Samsung Convoy on Verizon. :)

  • @mikeypizano Haha. Good eye.

  • @NightFlyyer Glad to see I am not the only one who don't got a smartphone. I need something durable and with good battery life.

  • Dear Dave,

Im having issues flying helis lately. When i fly a mcx or msr i can fly fine. Nose in, out, forward, backward....anything. But when i flew collective pitch helis....like my t-rex 450, my mcpx...my blade sr etc...i cant fly nose in withougt the heli losing control...it just drifts a way and no matter what i try i cant compensate.....evan when i bought a msrX and i cant fly it nose in. The heli is fixed pitch but flybarlles.....why cant i fly collective pitch and flybarlles helis?

  • @flyingchimp99 Well, I dunno about that. I know your a good flyer, so am surprised to read this from you. When I get confused (which is a lot at my age), I revert to pointing my antenna in the same general direction as the heli or plane is going, then put myself inside the nose, forcing myself to not look at the tail. Thats the brain part. Flybarless heli directions are the same as FB less Dont be afraid to move the sticks. Got no good answer 4 U but just dont ever give up.

  • @NightFlyyer thanks for the help.....im just gona practise more....and use your advice too. I took a look and that 9 tips video u made in February 2 years ago again to get some help....Im sure ill get the hang of it eventually. haha, nice heli dave, its easier to stop that the other one....that one cut you didin't it. Merry christmas dave!!!

  • Awesome. Will do..I just bought myself an Mcx, sr120 and MCPX The Mcpx is a bit out of my skill level so I also bought the new Phoenix flight sim . I'm loving it so far. Hope you have a great Christmas,, Your the best...

  • Awesome video Mr. Herbert Ive seen many of your videos and Im a huge fan. I was wondering if you have any plans for a rc garage sale? It would be neat to own something youve personally flown yourself. Just a thought. Ali

  • @IbnAir23 Thanks kindly. Well, I am in here most of the time, and so most of the stuff is not new and well used, but that is a thought. Thanks again for those words.

  • @the1stbuilder65 I doubt I would jump into a msr first. It has a real tail rotor. It takes time to learn that left stick. To fly the same kind of setup as the s107, you would find the Blade Scout a better choice. But if your really ambidextrous, then go for it.

  • Great vid Mr. Herbert!!! I think I had something similar growing up in the '80s if I remember correctly. It's the simpler things like the F-4B and that helicopter that make me smile, especially this time of year as I reflect back on the holidays of my childhood :) As always thank you for sharing with us, you're a good man and always brighten my day with these videos. Hope you and your family and friends have a very Merry Christmas!

  • @bear3162000 Thanks so very kindly. I truly appreciate your comments. I like to look at the past toys and such as you know, so it is great to hear from folks like you who owned those old toys too. Merry Christmas to you also and rest easy. ~NightFlyyer~

  • Your in Sibley right?

  • @SecondCocacola Yes sir...and you?

  • Yay! NOT first! Anyway love the vid as always! You're such an inspirational guy and you have put so much into the RC buissness that I can only dream of doing the work you have done Dave!

  • @flightdeckreviews I do appreciate your comments. Thanks very much and Happy Holidays.
