you sign up, and you need a credit card... i think they accept visa, mastercard.... maybe american express, i'm not sure(I use my dad's account) and you can also use itunes giftcards, which basically converts cash into something you can use on itunes. itunes gift cards are available, pretty much anywhere, safeway, target, frys, radioshack, etc
