I'm kind of impressed that you made a cake using nothing but a fork... Impressed, but at the same time, confused. I mean, that didn't look like the most fantastic kitchen ever, but I'd expect that if there's an oven there should be cooking utensils like mixing spoons and whisks around, like your friend mentioned. Were all the mixing spoons dirty?

@ImpassionedPlatypi See, the issue with your logic here is that the /university/ provide the ovens; the /students/ provide the utensils. It is not the most well-stocked of kitchens. (We nearly had to use a Quality Street box for a cake tin.)

I figured that the university would provide some basic things to go with the oven, like pots and pans and cookie sheets and spatulas and such, while the students would be responsible for more specialized things like electric mixers or pastry blenders or garlic presses.
