Most American marriages end in divorce due to financial disagreements, so that is definitely something to consider when choosing a mate. Polygamy is the answer. We must return to our original Black standard of family. Black women have always outnumbered us but prior to slavery this was never an issue. The issue is attempting to attach white standards to black love. So through 400 years of slavery, jim crow, and an overall oppressive society has conditioned the minds of black women to believe that they have to have their man all to themselves. Polygamy would also solve the infidelity issues. Black culture for Black people.

Instead of black women worrying about "making a man there whole world" why don't we as black women get these black male babies out of foster care and group homes. This was whitey's decision, because it were not many blacks who hold high positions in congress during segregation. Blacks are still trying to pull out of destitution now, but we do have personal choice and responsibility to do better with our lives, now I do agree with you on not blaming whitey for EVERYTHING. Speaking for myself, I don't ask for anymore than I have to offer. So if I have busted my behind in school and in the workforce to earn what I have, why would I settle for someone who hasn't? Most American marriages end in divorce due to financial disagreements, so that is definitely something to consider when choosing a mate. I feel like this goes for ALL women, regardless of race People shouldn't feel bad for feeling like they deserve better.

My parents have always told me that I am ugly and educated me about bleaching product as a child. I am black female and I growing up I was very shy and seldom spoke up in class and would always have a book in hand. I was bullied in school by black males and looked over as well for having "nappy hair" and "dark skin". I never lashed out at them but simply ignored them. Personally I don't care for black men at all but I don't think it makes me a shallow person. I don't belittle them either.
