iPod nano : How to delete photos from iPod Nano

i did anything i could think of to remove photos from my ipod before i sold it, can they use software to recover photos if they was sad enough to be doing this??i did everything from delete cache >> restore original ipod settings

@d3monikgamer yea i kinda figured it out on my own, just click apply without checking anything, i think thats wat i did.
