its all very well argueing over 29 years and slow show but what about the live slow show version on the virginia ep?

@rhyscd147 The version of Slow Show on the Virginia EP is a demo - and therefore actually the same song as Slow Show, albeit an earlier version with slightly changed lyrics in the first verse. Like biacomas has said, '29 Years' is an entirely separate song and therefore shouldn't be compared with Slow Show. It has been said and I shall say it again - this version has something special.

this version has something.. I don't think "slow show" is better, is another song.. but with a piece of this one..

the amateur recording makes this one very special.

@gogolplex74 maybe you should listen to slow show again lol.... the two songs barely have any similarities except the endings. And i agree with biacomas, the recording does add an interesting effect to a simple song.

Prefer the section in slow show this is also in much stronger especially in concert as he repeats it so many times simple elegant poetic moving and beautiful!
