think it sucks that ya'll arent even taking the video seriously. because it is a good point. Im 22 years old and i think that women are going to far with the club gear in church and 3 inch heels with pencil skirts that you cant help but be sexy in. I dont have a conservative background and if i wanted to dress like that i could, but i dont think that you should wear sexy attire in church and then get mad at the man thats starring at you. He's a man. thats distracting.

I don't know how some some commenters do or don't dress but the attitude that says "if what I'm wearing causes him to stumble then it's HIS problem..." is selfish, unloving, prideful....not to mention unbiblical.

(I tend to think that this mindset is more prevalent among younger women who still lack maturity about this issue.)

Now, you *may* or *may not* dress inappropriately...but that attitude is not one of love.

Also its not just how your dress at church, a REAL Christ centered individual is not just Christ centered on Sunday at a building that houses a 501c3 nonprofit organization you're led by the Spirit 24/7 that means how you dress ever time you step out the house(Man or Woman). But we do not want a LORD we must submit to or theological sound doctrine, we want easy believeism, emotional manipulation, & money commeith to me gimmicks.

I love this video..LOL...Y'all crazy. I think "sexy" and "provocative" are in the eyes of the beholder. I dress classy wherever I go. Nothing beats class. I don't show cleavage, nothing's too tight, and my skirts are never at my thighs. But I'm a health conscious woman. I take care of my body, and some men may find my classy to be sexy or even provocative, based on their individual definitions. I can't worry about what men think. I just want to dress this temple so that God will be pleased.

(pt 3) the focus to remain on worshipping God and hearing the message. If you are looking at the curves on the chick in front of you then you are missing the part where the pastor says that the bible says even if you look up a woman with lust in your heart and mind it is the same as if you had commited the sin itself. (pt 1)There is a problem here with people not know the difference between culture and religion, but that's ok, I'm about to school you. First, Muslim women cover their hair and bossom as the Quran states (hijab). Other means of dress such as the nigab (face veil) is not obligatory. I wear jeans and blouses often. As for women in chruch, if they read their bible half as much as they claim to, they would know that what they are wearing is not christian. This is how the habit of women wearing hats

I do think that SOME women dress to provocative for church. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide in all areas of our lives. However, we have to ensure that we are not to hard on the unsaved. Saved women should be an example for the unsaved. If they see us looking like the world they will feel comfortable, unless they develop a sincere hunger and thirst 4 God.  Christians should dress modestly according to the leading of the Holy Spirit not the world. The Holy Spirit is a teacher....

I think Muslim sheet dressing is not the answer [lol]. I do understand bodies are God's temple, and we should adorn them as such. In some ways, a man is resposible for his eyes, but a sistah should not be on display (knowing how SOME men react). Now, If my wife was all that (I'm not married), I'd rather her 'attributes' be for my eyes only. If a woman is spiritually mature, she shouldn't cause a less mature man to go there. Covering your face with material is not modest but draws attention (smile). Plus, we are drawn away by our own lust. Who's to say that a man's attire or body built wouldn't distract me from the message? do u mean covering your face with makeup is not modest??? i know there r women (many times apostolic) who do not wear make-up bcause it draws attention or high lights sex appeal. but they get their hair done, curled, wrapped, permed, they get their nails done. they were skirts that only come to the knee, so there legs r still showin, they were high heels which accent the legs. so they do all this and c no problem with it, but just don't wear makeup???? what???

If we believe that all Scripture is God breathed and profitable for instruction (2 Tim 3:16), it doesn't really matter who the Spirit used to write 2 Tim 2:9-10 (the modesty stuff). We thus couldn't gloss over the modesty issue. The Spirit leads us into all truth (John14:26). As women AND men, we send silent signals about ourselves simply by the way we dress. I think that that's inevitable whether we're inside or outside of the church, so I think we should dress with this in mind.

Look, its true that the men of God need to develop their Christian walk in order to stay focused on the Lord at all times, but that does not give women an excuse to dress sexy or provocatively in church. By doing that, you are allowing yourself to become a stumbling block to the men of God and you will be judged for that. Not all men who attend to church are strong in the faith. Women need to understand that men are visually stimulated and realize that dressing like that is inappropriate.

Its the same then and now. you dont have to cover your face completely to be modest. I where skirts at least beneath my knees and cover my chest and shoulders and dont wear tight clothing. you dont have to go to extremes but God's word does give leading in this matter. Its just not that complicated. Ladies, you know if something is modest or not when you but it on. If there is any doubt in your mind, that should give you your answer.
