  • Ron Paul 2012. Join or Die.

  • that would be funny if right as they were about to read the declaration, the guy on the horse shouts "god save king george."

  • GOD SAVE THE REPUBLIC!!!!!!!!!!!

    LONG LIVE THE CONSTITUTION!!!!!!

  • this also plays during Adams inauguration speech.

  • GOD SAVE THE AMERICAN STATES!!!

    -Korean-born, die hard American Patriot.

  • Breath takingly beautiful

  • god bless this great country of ours. As Americans we should all remember and honor the blood that has been spilled to keep our country what it is today and what it shall be eternally.......a free and independent one that fights tyranny across the globe and liberates peoples oppressed.

  • @zyzor While I share your sentiment, America must never go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She must be that shining beacon of light on the hill for all to see, and ruler only of her own destiny.

  • @TheJediSlayer7 yeah it kind of all started during the french revolution and napoleonic wars when both washington and adams urged us to stay out of foreign affairs and many other prominent political figures at the time kept arguing for war.

  • For all those who rail against the United States, Think and be honest with yourselves, and think about what the world would be like without the US. I Know for a fact it would truly be a dark place. Many things in our modern world we take for granted, were made possible by the United States of America, Including your Electric lights, so Be Proud Americans because your Country is great!

  • the declaration of independence is more than a piece of paper it is a way of life. freedom to pray to your god, freedom to write and speek how you feel, freedom, a chapter in american history payed for with blood. God bless our country for we are the shining light of this dark world.

  • @automatk47 people including our own countrymen sometimes forget how our independence was won and what a miracle it was. That generation of Americans lost things they held dear and sacrificed so that we the future generations of Americans would not go without. so that we , Americans would have a place to call home free from others.

  • @automatk47 No.... that was actually the Bill of Rights.

  • Even if you aren't proud of what America has become, this series still moves you to the core. I think this piece captures that scene in the show - and probably the historical moment itself - very well...

  • @LadyAubrie Don't be ashamed of what our nation has become. Could it be better? Of course. But, people from all over the globe still want to come here. They come here for the same reasons our ancestors came many years ago, or in my case, 53 years ago, German immigrants, escaped from East Germany to find freedom, to find real employment, etc. Nothing has changed, except for what they say on the news.

  • @leapjrh

HA, open your eyes, America is now heading down the same road as the Wiemar republic.

  • What it must have been like to be sitting the that room... what an incredible moment in human history.

  • What it must have been like to be sitting the that room... what an incredible moment in human history.

  • This track is also played during Adams' innaguration to the Presidency.

  • his son was a great lawyer as well especially in that movie amistad where he mentions the forefathers...epic

  • Incredible. This is simply incredible.

  • gives me goosebumps. and im not even american. when they finally get the unanimity in the continental congress and they're all in silence, thinking about what it means.

  • @forman1200 I'm a 1st generation American. I'm 29 years old. I read the US Constitution every day; the amendment which corresponds to the day of the month. I carry a pocket constitution with me. The last few days of the month, I write down what I can in 5 minutes, what I think about the last month's reading. What's odd is, I never write the same thing. My thoughts continuously change because the Constitution, much like the Holy Bible, is a living document, it changes, with us.

  • @leapjrh We need more people like you in this nation :) God bless you. This series inspired me to read the Constitution and memorize the Declaration of Independence just as I memorize my Bible.

  • The 4th of July 1776 Declaration of Independence belongs to all human beings. For that, I hold eternal respect for the United States of America and their Founding Fathers!

  • @krokodilianus As an American i appreciate your gratitude to our country, I personally am proud that our nation did not turn out to be the very thing we rebelled against, i am glad that we have carried on what our founders started and extended it beyond our shores, I know that we get a lot of negative attention and are deemed as invaders, and oppressors, but the intent is pure.

  • @zyzor

You're a fool. Spreading so-democracy was not what the founding fathers would have wanted. In fact, it makes me sick to be an American. Attacking sovereign nations, tisk, tisk.

We are far away from what America was founded upon. We are supposed to be a constitutional republic, but you probably believe we are a democracy.

You can look at this video made back in 1995 watch?v=lXb-LrVkuwM

    Learn.

    @krokodilianus

Wrong, each nation has their own constitution.

  • @patriotadEEUU I agree, but, first of all, The Declaration of Independence is not a constitution. The Constitution of the United States was adopted in 1789, and obviously has a much more technical content. By comparison, The Declaration is a manifesto, and the first ever to proclaim the fundamental values of democracy. Consequently, it has an enormous value for all mankind.

  • Respond to this video... I wish that the series had also would have included a scene where Adams, Ben Franklin and edward rutledge met with admiral lord howe at the staten island peace conference that would have been interesting to see.

  • The best and most powerful scene of the whole movie. So realistic! This is what it must have actually been like on that truly historic day in 1776! God save our American states! ***===

  • so emotional............ a wonderful soundtrack :-)

  • A truly sweeping music track that represents the entirety of emotions in the Independence episode and the hope that its conclusion depicted.
