I have never came close to an 800 count.

The largest ones I make run around 500.

Would you believe me when I say my 500 count bomb can just about match your 800?

For me my focus is not on the sparkler. I focus on the system of delivery.

The sparkler only serves as the ignition source.

It's all about casing.

Without good solid casing the sparklers fail to live up

i build them and the best kind 2 use are the colored sparklers (if you want a boom) i use electrical tape and wrap it all the way up but i dont cover the top or the bottom

We've done lots of fountain-type. We had a fountain about 100-200 feet tall (it was hard to tell exactly because of the brightness). With this one the point was to make an actual bomb. With the fountain type it doesn't really matter how you build the thing. Bomb types need to be built a certain way.

damn. the secret is not how much sparklers you use as much as it is how much tape you use. i make 1 box (96 sparklers) with like 4 or 5 rolls of electrical tape and they explode! big! you need a lot of tape if your gonna make a sparkler bomb worth blowing up.

Oh man is that it? I would have used a lot more than that, my rule is 1 roll per 24 sparklers, if you had used that much that thing would have been unbeleivable. On my 4 brick bomb i wanted to use 12 rolls but only managed to get to 9 because my deadline came to fast. On my video "Awesome Sparkler Bomb" i used a 1 roll per 18 sparklers and thing was huge for the size of it. But even if you only used 12 rolls, that thing was badass can't wait to see some more from you!
