I have a fresh facial scar. Not a simple cut, I had a chunk of flesh the size of my pinky cut out for biopsy after I was diagnosed with skin cancer (melanoma). I'm 27 years old. I must admit, it effects me... I was a fairly handsome guy. I've dated 2 models in my lifetime. Mine isn't really as bad as the male in this video, same area though. Biopsy came back w/ clean margins... waited 4 years to have it checked, I'm lucky. How do I live w/ it? Key words: I'm living.
i have a scar on the left side of my face from an accident involving an x-acto knife and a rubber band and chicks dig it. i definitely wouldn't consider it a disfigurement.
Try having a scar on your nose and cheek and be balding. Thenn talk to me. lol these people all got there scars from drunkin foolishness not lame surgical scar.
I have some scars, facial scars and I can understand these emotions. This girl in the video is gorgeous. Aw man, and the guy seems like a good man. If you have scars their are options for revision to make them less noticeable.
@aldomovielovers No my friend, it is you who ruin your social life. You believe your facial scars made you look weird, and in your self perception you see yourself as awkward and ugly so you behave and act like someone who was awkward and ugly. You form a shell to protect yourself from emotional harm and thus you lack social grace.
the way these people got there's is why they are so ashamed. If they had gotten them in an act of heroism, i doubt they would feel insecure. however, to always look in the mirror and to see what, in your mind, you think could have been avoided, well... thats the real demon. To all of you who don't know what this means and still call them narcistic... well you really just dont understand.
wow. my father was in mass general for almost a year for 3rd degree burns all over his body including his face, and he will now have to live with these scars for the rest of his life. though i can partly understand where you're coming from, you are also very lucky compared to a lot of people, since you both are still recognizable. -_-
These scars are bad but they over-dramatize it a bit. I got shot it the back of the head with a .223 in a hunting accident and was cut along the side of my jaw from some shrapnel from the roof the scar runs from the my chin all the way to were I got shot, a bit of the scar begins to break up and is hard to see were my hair line is. But it's much worse than what these guys have.
That's nothing compare to what I've seen, those are little scars, which are obviously non noticeable with a little make up!.. those scars are more psychological than physical to me!. I've meet people with 3d degree burns in their face (girls) so people please!... I got a better title for this: "Narcissist's breakdowns"
This is how people really react though dude. It's not about how big your scar is, it's about the psychological hurt and the insecurity that the scars bring.
Society is so terribly and disgustingly judgemental. It's drilled into people's minds from an early age that anyone who "looks" or just "is" different in some way has something wrong with them, and, this of course, somehow means they're not "normal". There are unwelcome stares from strangers and people can't see the person anymore, they see that "difference" which separates them from everyone else. Very sad. The two people in the video are very brave. Best wishes to you! Don't give up!
I'm sorry, but these people look perfectly fine. This is a joke, I can't believe that these two are whining about such minor and barely noticeable scars. That girl can probably put makeup on to cover up whatever it is she is whining about. LowStackTom sounds like he's got it worse then these two.
With all that being said... how would you feel if someone came with an even worse story then yours.. (aside from scars) looks at you unapologetically and says... "what are you whining about??? you still look good?"
i would answer: "i´m sorry about your story, mate, but i never did nor will i ever whine about my fate, because it´s of no use at all - but quite the opposite.
i don´t care about people who don´t like my looks, and my friends don´t care about my scars.
btw, i had quite a few beautyful girlfriends in my life, who i wouldn´t have had if i would run around (on youtube or anywhere) whining about how bad i look and feel !
"If you and I do not agree then let's agree to disagree RESPECTFULLY. I speak my mind and will take all sincere remarks into account. I live my life in the best way I know how and will not apologize."
neither do i need or want your compassion, nor your agreement !
but i do wonder why a oh-so empathic, compassionate and well-painted mother of 4, who tells people on her channel how fair and loving she is, turns around and insults me for no reason other than because i disagreed ?!
I also live my life in the best way I know and will not apologize, either. and i´m not telling everybody about how "miserable" my life is, because it isn´t, and doesn´t have to be for the 2 whimps in the vid, either
And I would comment on your user name, but I won't it pretty much does that on its own. Look closer on my page it also says "I love people but I may not agree with their actions and I won't apologize for that either.. you're just one of those people. May not be fair, just like your lack of care or concern for the people whose scars aren't as noticeble as yours,, but then why does it matter according to you?
Keep on commenting, I love it. You can say it's bc of my two-facedness if that's even a word, but it's bc you are not with all of the "beautyful"women you claim to have or have HAD.
I won't even elaborate on the two faced comment, makes me chuckle to even think of it. You can continue your verbal atrophy on our own.
Did anyone EVEN listen to the woman's story? She said she used to MODEL and make money off of her looks. Now some of you are the same people on here that watch Americas Top Model and get horrified if someone "different" comes on. How DARE you judge how someone else may feel.
Why would you chase a very drunk women into the bathroom? She is not going to remember anything you say to her any way. It sounds like she was being the bully and may have been even drunker than the woman she was harassing.
The bloke looks quite violent too. Sounds like he was getting very pimpish and trying to shut out a guy who was just being friendly. Dont really beleive his side of the story.
my scar is ceaused by a bad baby-sitting at least that what my mother told me. is bigger then both of theirs, and the scare is closer to my eyes till to my mouth. the scare i really visible, and sometime i even ask myself.."why me?"
the more terrible part about my scare is that, am a light skinned black male, and the rest of my face is light skinned and the scare is black color. lol i can never get a job at retail with that.
Is this a stab at me for coming off as a prick in my comment, or are you trying to assume I have no problems and just am pointing fun at others with them? Either way, I doubt I can say anything that will appease you, but trust in me that I have my fair share of problems.
I see. Well I must assume then that you yourself have some disfiguring scar, or are entirely too much of a romantic and think that every little thing requires a great deal of thought and care. The kind of person who gets out of bed and stares longingly out the window in a dramatic stance before--fuck it, I don't have time to mess with you, I'm tired, it's 3 AM.
Trying having stretch marks all over yourself since age 15 and not being able to wear anything strapless, sleeveless, short, etc. Or, or, or for anyone going "that's not as bad either", serious ass burns on your body.
This vid at best is a PA for Vitamin E Oil at a 70,000 IU concentration and more importantly how bad a drunk can be and when and why to stop serving them.
My girlfriends have quite large stretchmarks on her thighs and lower back and honestly the only thing stopping you from wearing swimsuits etc. is yourself. It's a hard thing to go through but it's all about self-esteem. Believe in yourself and don't listen to what other people say.
My girlfriend was terrified that I would leave her because of her stretchmarks. Well, 1.5 years of being together, I hardly even think about them.
I have a friend that has been attacked by a dog at the age of 6... To this day he has a huge scar from the incident . A couple of inches next to the ear, all the way through the mouth . The scars on this video are really nothing special. My friend's scars looks like a fucked up version of the joker's. And his life is completely unaffected by it :) He is completely happy :) Not like these pricks who get in fights just to take it out on someone...... weak wankers....
I live with 16 inch scar on my face shaped like this (I my life hasn't been the same since the accident. Its people like you that don't understand that we have to relive the most horrific moment of our lives every time we see a reflection. Imagine every relationship starting with "what happen" Que horrific flashback. The day my face changed was that day I had to morn the death of someone I new for 25 years. I/He died that day. 8 year since and still a mirror brings anger and sadness.
You clearly get it. The rest of these comments make me sad. I'm sorry you've experienced something similar to these people and I hope you find happiness.
I'm truly sorry for your loss. All I'm saying is that a scar like that shouldn't be the excuse for all the sad moments in your life nor the all the wrong choices. I've just given an example of a close friend of mine that just had the mental strength and courage to let it go :) You should try to do so yourself. Don't look back to those flashbacks. I'm sure you have lot's of people around you that support you. That should be plenty to help you get through it :) best of luck , I know you can do it
I understand although I don't suffer noticable PHYSICAL scars there are PSYCOLOGICAL scars that myself as a person have to go through on a daily basis looking in the mirror of my soul, so I empathize and understand totally what you are going through.

i had a car accident when i was 15 (went through the windshield head first) and got 68 stiches in the face alone.
with 21 somebody in a bar threw a bottle in my face = 6 stiches.
when i was 40 i had a racing-bike accident, another 14 stiches.
my forehead now looks like mince meat, my nose was broken twice, my eyes don´t have the same shape anymore, etc.
