Vote Luol Deng for the NBA Allstar. You can send 3 chicago bull players to the all star game. If Luol Deng doesn't win that 12th spot, the celtics send 4 players, and there is no way they deserve it.
He is filling the shoes of the old legend Minute Bol. And i am a great fan of the Chicago Bulls. May they be blessed and win the championship next year.
I'ts not a civil war it started with muslims trying to convert the indigenous Africans in the south, instead of living as one country and let people practice their own religion, they just killed everyone for no reason.
Lots of bulls fans get on luol for not living up to the hype, but I still love Luol Deng and I will still get his jersey because he's a good guy and he is the last remaining player from the 04-05 Bulls team that finally ended 6 years of losing. Once Boozer starts playing, Luol can be that third scoring option where he is meant to be.
it's funny, but we don't see any comments about racism in egypt about sudaneese, but when this racism comes from white people it's denonced , and not in that case, why?
@Pierrechoum You know the answer to this. And before I elaborate, let me say that I'm white. White people, for the last let's at least say 500 years (though some people would go back farther, I'd say this is when it really got out of hand) have dominated many areas through exploration and colonization. As a result of this, many different peoples including white people themselves were taken as slaves for other white people.
This caused ethnic diversity in many countries, and thus racism.
@Pierrechoum And I'm not saying that it is right that only white people are denounced for racism, I'm just saying you know how this social inequality came about.
If you play basketball, you gotta check out – snipurl[dot]com/nbatraining. I highly recommend it! I'm 5’7 and started dunking after 5 weeks of the program!
I'm not being devisive here, but this is true. Alot of sucessful Dinkas always mention how they are from Dinka tribe and all dat. But when a non dinka sudanese tries to talk about his/her tribe, every one else say that is sagrigation or tribalist. And dat got me wonder, when is it ok for a sudanese man or woman to publicly mention his/her tribe?....Only when he/she is sucessful?
I remeber post in up this guy at ferndale basket ball court 3 on 3 they call me jordan but he sky hook, blocked and dunk on me all day, he was skinny too, he's a big man now... he's home boy had a good three point shot too the brown kid with that dog.
@piercefan34mvp Well he considers his home to be in england because he can just go there and chill with his mates in brixton whereas in america he always gets spotted and asked for autographs and shit, he also plays on the english basketball team
im soo pruod to be from sudan i know loul deng and im 10 yrs and im 5 ft. 4in. sudanesse people are tall including manute bol i know him also he went to the ms. south sudan pagent with loul deng and i shook manute bol's hand and i took a picture with him there was a lo of people and i thought manute was on a stule lol
kool so do i he was one of the coaches at this park called trenholm and i used to see him and thats when he got drafted and now i play b-ball and im sudanese like him
and i know cheers man i always watch the games on channel 5 or channel 5 US on repeat the next day so i dont have to stay up as late haha. but id do anything to actually play as a career. i practice almost everyday in my back garden or on the park and i use the gym most days to! i prey i can go somewhere lol.
even though boarding school isnt a big comfort zone id sill even love the oppertunity to go to blair academy!
its crazy ive grown up in England my whole life but i just cant hack the cold weather, soccer is huge here but im a basketball fan.. am i just awkward or different haha?
interesting video... thanks for puttin it up. Glad he plays for the Bulls as they are my team and he is a really talented basketball player. Also im happy to say he supports my football team (soccer) Arsenal. What a great guy.
Very happy for Luol. I would add one comment however, Luol is being paraded as a Dinka in this interview without mentioning he is also a Southerner. One comment that was made by Omer basher, the North Sudan president was, that the international community should not only be talking about SPla because there are other very strong and important tribes in the South too. That time he was shamelessly boasting about the Nuer. This was before General Paulino Matip Nhial Joined ranks with Spla.
this is a thing with the African-born ballers, they're always GREAT human beings on and off the court, Hakeem Olajuwon, Manute Bol, Dikembe Mutombo and now Luol Deng, they grew up learning from parents who have realized how harsh and cruel the world can be
sudanese people come in all different types, pure black african, light skin black africans, light skin africans and even some white people come from sudan.
SUDAN is the best country in the world, no matter the violence, we got the best people you could ever get. Plus i never thought egypt was like that, last time i went to visit egypt most of the people i met were black.
Remember that the average IQ in Sudan is 72 (given UK's 100). This means that most people will be able to open doors, but might have difficulty using kitchen appliances. To that we must add poverty, inbreeding, a culture that would make Stalin blush and the worst kind of brainwashing (islam).
And you expect them to think and act rational? Get over it. It's not going to happen.
The sad fact is that this applies to almost all muslims.
how does he hate the british, we were the first ones that didnt hate on him because of hes colour.. he started playing in london, he came back here not long ago and set up a community center and couple of outside basketball courts in brixton, he even said when he first started playing he said the hoops didnt even have nets and wants kids to start playing, good way off getting kids out of trouble. he plays for the Great Britain team so how does he hate us arsehole
what a good video it shows that no matter what we should never forgot what and who really are and hope the world accepts everyone for what they are go Luol you are good role model to people out there.
3hmed,you are typical of what is wrong in Sudan. It seems that you wanna "Arabicize" all the tribal diversity of your unique country. This young men is indeed a Sudanese but he's a Dinka( and most probably a Christian too)so just accept him for what he is!
Oh, just give me break.how many people from sudan do you know beside luol deng that attended bellair?.the truth is, his father was minister in sudanese government before EL Bashir come to power in 1989. Alot of people know who your family and were you are from beside your everyday dinkaism on air.why are you crying about that little carp with eyptian police in cairo when ardinary southerners were being burn alive under your father's help.

the tention is still there no matter what treaty is put in place and until we learn to get along as brothers of one nation not tribes there will be no positive movement in the near future
it's like germany is doin with einstein and hitler! einstein is swiss they say he's german. hitler was german reichschancellor now he's austrian again.
what i mean is after all the war, genocide and racism towards southern sudanese all of a sudden a southerner is good enough to be a "sudanese" cuz he's in the league?
keep the north, have it islamic as you please and let it get bombed out by america for havin harbored bin laden!

yeah ok so we think the same way at this question whateaver i dont like fight my brothers , we dont have to make that mistake who killed our country have a good day
ok look at ur skin stupid boy , what color do you see ? u think u like an iraquian ? or from leabanone ? think a little bit , i dont say i dont like arab but i just dont feel arabic , what the difference between a sudanese and a other muslim african ... u just a ignorent
not the arab community but african community , im sudanese and i feel black and african not arabic , but im speaking arabic and im muslim but im not feeling arabic dont say bullshit ahmed
As a sudanese I am really proud of him and his views ,prying that one day Sudan will be the safe heaven and a worm home for every one from the ,south, north, east and west, as equal people living in peace and love
Good to see a fellow Sudanese specially a fellow dinka doing this type of stuff usually Sudanese people like to gossip about each other. The Deng family is a friend of are family his sister was at are house about a year ago
where are all the Duke bashers now? Duke doesnt have any players in the NBA? Boozer and Deng are running shyt now. Check the stats, Duke has the most players in the NBA and they make the most money!! Choke on that applesauce!
he is the perfect nba player. 6 foot 9 but with arms as long as a 7 foot 4 man. he's not the typical spoiled, selfish American. Luol is going to be the best player in the NBA one day very soon. He is only 21 years old and already an all star talent.
Vote Luol Deng for the NBA Allstar. You can send 3 chicago bull players to the all star game. If Luol Deng doesn't win that 12th spot, the celtics send 4 players, and there is no way they deserve it.

Now we all see why Pax didn't want to trade him at the deadline. I wouldn't trade Deng straight up for Gasol. Star in the making

he is the perfect nba player. 6 foot 9 but with arms as long as a 7 foot 4 man. he's not the typical spoiled, selfish American. Luol is going to be the best player in the NBA one day very soon. He is only 21 years old and already an all star talent.

Very impressive young man. I wish the NBA would focus more on the good things, such as this. Compared to the constant exposure of negativity.
