Ezio and Altair were both good assassins. I'm sure they could stay toe-to-toe in battle forever, and they are both equal. But if you need to compare, just remember that Ezio wouldn't be there if Altair wasn't there, Altair designed, like, half of Ezio's weapons and the armor you get from him, AND theres a sword you can buy thats the best in the game. But, oh well.

Imho, Ezio is cool but he's not as good of an Assassin as Altair. He kills a TON of people who didn't need to be killed (Like in the new revelations trailers where he decimates an entire harbor with a flamethrower, how many unessicary deaths do you think THAT caused?)

Not to mention Altair is much more subtle and effecient. Just compare the trailers - in the original AS trailer, Altair killed his targets and didn't fuck around with it. Ezio does.
