Further to my previous comment, the use of body language is so exaggerated it reduces performance to a circus act! I was present rehearsals for a symphony concert. A lady of oriental extraction rehearsed the Sibelius violin concerto.Whilst playing, she pranced and danced around the stage, at one point (this is no exaggeration) she even dropped down into a squatting position, which was most unladylike! I thought she was about to "do" something on the stage! Call that feeling? - Ridiculous!
For goodness sake, why all the bobbing and weaving? It adds not a solitary thing to the music, It is an awful distraction, and can interfere with tone production. It has ruined many performances. I don't like to see it, and I blame teachers for this lack of discipline. There appears to be a "Use plenty of body language" brigade at large in the world of music tuition
these days. I oppose it. The greatest musicians avoided all superfluous movement. Only a buffoon would argue with them!
Pity she did not record Cesar Franck's sonata. I have a bootleg of a performance with Katheryn Stott on the piano, and boy, that is the best performance I have of this piece... But it's nice she included the Messiaen piece on the cd.

better control in right hand wouldn't hurt when you play "pianissimo", girl ;)
Your sound is breaking, like old 90-years voice of old woman. And your vibrato is "clueless", speed is not controlled - you play as it "plays", without good understanding _why_ you have at particular time faster or slower vibrato. When you have 1 note with fast vibrato, then another 2 with slow, then 2-3 with fast then slow again - you're breaking phrasing/lines. Work it out, you have a talent, but it needs polish:)
@linuxoid70 I´m really sorry, but Janine Jansen is one of the greatest violinists in the world!!! Her technique is perfect, and I think (and a lot of people) she plays beautiful! Check all her other videos and be amazed by her.
@linuxoid70 i dont think you ever want a vibrato that is consistent. even joshua bell says that every note that you play the vibrato is different, even from one note to the next. its unnatural and unmusical to have same vibrato on every single note. phrases will sound strange. as notes grow or diminish within a phrase, the vibrato does too.....
@linuxoid70 You have no idea what you're talking about. Janine conveys her emotions through the music, and that's what makes her a true musician. If her vibrato would be the same with every note and if she would play in constant speed, the piece would lose its colour and beauty. If you want to let the music speak you have to play what you feel. She is so expressive. No one could play it better than she did.
@RUnation71251 I would agree on most - you don't have to use the same vibrato all the time otherwise it would be simply boring, but there is a difference when it's made on purpose and when it's simply uncontrolled.
There is no such thing as the best because it's a matter of subjective opinions, and it cannot be objective because that's a human nature.

I'm sorry to say, but Janine Jansen is one of the very few violinists who play in tune...
I mean: absolutely in tune... Maybe I'm even going to love the violin, just because of her play...
