Also, if you want max power and speed development, drop the bar once you get to your knees. You're only exposing yourself to injury by trying to control the negative.
@TheJohnnydrago shut up. You are talking shit. Not only it is stupid, but its dangerous and counter-productive too. And it does nothing in terms of max power and speed development. In fact, its plain simple. YOU GO FUCKIN KILL YOURSELF
thats not a straigth deadlift, you are using your hamstrings when deadlifts is suppost to hit your lower back as your main muscle the latissimus dorsi.
yeah what he said is true it puts less stress on lower back , for an obvious reason , the closer it is to your body the less angular force is placed on the spine , same thing on the way up .
I have also been natural and it's been great because I have human-sized muscle-mass and not some freakish Synthol overdosed HGH stuffed and steriod-needle poking pig who abuses drugs to gain size/power and can't do any thing in life with out additional benefits beyond what comes naturally.
Sad people they are. Just check my article at Wordpress on my channel about steriods to see what I'm really talking about.
Terrible form, sorry. I have perfected a deadlift form with a total weight of 616lbs raw with bare grip and roid-free at only 13. Check my channel to learn more...
@Gunznskullz91 Builds lower body strength, especially the hips, lower back, and glutes. Hip strength is especially useful for throwing kicks and grappling. Actually, hip strength is invaluable for grappling.
what kind of fantasy world do you live in where he wouldn't go to jail/prison for trying anything if I said that to his face? he'd end up way worse than me.
I always feel bad for guys like 18811900 who don't realize we aren't on 7 on a playground anymore.
Are you really that stupid that you think a guy cant beat up someone without getting caught? I actually feel sorry for you believing that. You need to get out more dude.
do you really think some MMA dude is a capable person? He gets payed to get hurt by someone while other people watch. That's pathetic.
MMA participants are desperate losers trying to scrape by on a few bucks. I'd have his ass in prison so fast if he tried anything on me because I"m not a desperate loser trying to scrape by on a few bucks.
Its actually a very popular and entertaining sport. If you dont think so. Dont watch this video or any other video with MMA in the title. Dont go around hating on videos you claim not to give a shit about. Thats just stupid.
enjoy his performance? lol this is a 375 lb deadlift here is nothing even remotely impressive about it. The fact that he gets his mom to spot for him though is pretty hilarious.
And if MMA was a real sport the professional fighters wouldn't get gassed all the time in fights. It's ridiculous and pathetic how bad trainers are in it.
And you STILL dont get the point. Let the people who want to enjoy this video enjoy it. Keep your "badass, i can lift 1000 lb deadlift in my dreams, mma sucks because i got my ass kicked last week by a mma fighter and im now jealous" act to yourself. Idiot.
i'd bend my legs a little more on the way down before dropping it, to match how much they start at the beginning of the rep, though your lifting 170kg lol so thats being pretty picky
Nice pull, are you an oly lifter? For novices I'd advise they get in a tight set position rather than moving into the start position and pulling at the same time, that is harder to do, but I see most oly lifters use that technique. For me, I have to get tight before the weight moves or I get out of position.
Olympic lifters usually perform deadlifts in a "clean deadlift" syle which involves a lower hip starting position, more vertical toros and shoulders directly over (instead of slight infront like a PL'er). This is because the first pull (deadlift) of the clean is only done to get the bar in an optimal jumping position, whereas a PL'er wants to lift max weight to lockout and doesn't care about jumping position. This athlete appears to be doing a conventional deadlift to me.
@grambo22 i like romanian deadlifts, where the legs are a lot more straight and the back is a lot more horizonatal, it hits my hamstrings a lot more that's why i like them so much.
@grambo22 me too. Some teachnique biols down to who yur coach is....but shoulders should always be in advance of the bar from the starting position because the bar travels slightly backwards during 1rst pull. and unless it's a sumo dl, it is all vertical jump position.
UFC is mma. the UFC is the name of an organization. mma is the name of the sport genius. you dont hear me say "hockey? pfft try NHL"....right? because that would be stupid....like you...
cant really understand how thats a different deadlift from the regular one, looks similar to oly deadlift

Why don't you warn beginners from learning anything from this video?
