  • Alan's car definitely 1991, but when he hits Whale, the front turns into a more recent car! O_o

  • Old style !!! love this

  • murrys comentery makes these momonts special

  • aaaaaah.... the good old days :D

  • kKAAAAHHHNAGE.

  • Keith Odor was a ninja to fit through that gap!

  • massive shit attack with the fright at 0.11

  • putz que curva foda de faser hem?!

  • old school british touring cars are the best

  • i was there, just by were they all crashed, i was only 13 and it was fantastic, well crashes are great when you are 13. every one walked away. andy rouse was the best. that era of btcc racing was the best and most exciting, john cleland never finished a race with both his wing mirrors intact.

  • good thing no one was hurt!

  • lmao it was like the machines gods said "let thou teammates turn on each other"

  • nice

  • And its CAR-nage!!!

    Sorry, I'll get my coat.

  • lol

  • @leeds0united lol i love your little bit after X D

  • Mad skillz from Keith O'dor! I always liked him. :) Such a shame...

Ah, but those were the days... Today's BTCC is terribly dull and even the crashes aren't exciting.

  • yellow flag?

  • I was stood just the other side of the fence (cheering on Rouse) when that happened (McLeans Corner).

Those were the heady days of BTCC with all those manufacturers competing in the rough and tumble races.

    @617Ghost: Yes, a FWD 4cyl Toyota.

  • So what exactly was the Carina? FWD 4-cylinder Toyota?

  • very good

  • Theres oil on the track, and thats very dangerous indeed, no sh*t Murry!!!Classic..

  • That's quite an expensive car park.

  • Ah, memories of PROPER BTCC racing when the Carina II was kicking ass, see how nimble she is compared to the trailing axle Cavaliers! I'll admit to being biased seeing as how I own a '92 Carina II XL lol

  • Roadgoing mk3 Cavaliers from the SRi upwards had independent rear suspension, and these were based on a GSi.

Don't be too quick to judge the old Cav's, they were solid contenders.

  • muddly does indeed = GOD haha.

  • Murray = God

  • MURRAY!!!!

    lulz

    Carnage indeed...

  • they do

  • way before the tuner thing started

  • If Murray could tell there waqs oil on the track why couldn't the marshalls? Or was there not enough time to warn the on-coming traffic?

Always hurts to see a proper (ie an e30) BMW

    M3 get damaged.

  • if you look carefully in the panning shot at 0:19, you can make out the striped red and yellow "slippery surface" flag being shown.

  • Fair point, I'd mistaken that for a Shell advert!

  • 50 years of btcc and its still going strong. another bad mouth for scottish motrosporwith david lesle dying in that plane crash

  • Allam and Cleland. I guess that's what he meant. lol

This could have been even worse than it turned out to be. Great BTCC tho

  • Alan McCleland... lol

  • lol dint no muzza did btcc TY

  • Yeah when he was working for the BBC, he combined both F1 and BTCC. I wish the BTCC was like this still nowadays.

  • i say, the 90's the best years for btcc!

  • hahaha he called keith o'dor "keith odour"

    uh, r.i.p. kieth

  • That kinda reminds me of F1 2003 in Brazil when everyone hit a flood every 2 laps and went off the raod.

  • that looks soooooo fun

  • watch jeff's head when he hits the bmw-that could have been much worse

  • i so mis murry
