Good album but as Brian stated you fans just will not accept anything of Queen without Freddy. This is a fun song in the spirit of Queen the CD is good too, Paul Rodgers is a amazing singer, but now this group is disbanded. The best idea was what Black Sabbath did with the late Ronnie James Dio called the band a different name, who knows maybe the fans would of been more accepting of this CD
Freddie Mercury has ideas of course but in the end the rest of Queen create the sound
Take Made in Heaven, early version is good but in the laps of the Queen it become an outstanding song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Freddie Mercury is my favourite singer but we don't forget Roger;Brian,John, Four Leaders
its a kettle of piss fuckin ubelieveble!!!! next track will be :la papa (the potato) and rog cries so strong :LA PAAAAAAAAPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AHHAHHAHAHAHAHAH FUCK YOU QUEEN !!!!
Boring? It has all the elements of old Queen....layered guitar sound, great backing vocals...very 70's Queen...sounds like you are just hating because Freddie isn'tsinging it. If he were, you'd probably be saying its a great song.
@Robotdrummerzzk Er, not really. Many of the first Queen songs were by Brian, Keep Yourself Alive, Doin Alright, Son and Daughter, Father to Son, White Queen. Then he wrote Brighton Rock, Now I'm Here, he's done, overall, probably more than Freddie
You should be happy that Brian and Roger didn't quit. You act as if the band was Queen+Freddie, but most people seem to forget that Brian was the key member that formed Queen, along with Tim Staffell.
its people like u that do my head in cant u just be happy that queens back yh some peoples gone (freddie "the gay god of rock" mercury) and new peoples come but overall this just shows you how good queen are not enough death it self can stop them
Yes, Yes and again Yes. They really still got it! I was so happy when I first heard the guitar solo! I'm very proud of them..they made a very, very good album!
veramente pessima...

I think this song sounds a lot like Rodgers from the 70's and queen mixed. A very simple but good song.

@ffm20zaheri A) You spelled Freddie's name wrong. B) Paul can sing and does a great deal of justice to original Queen.

@ffm20zaheri Brian wrote most of the old Queen songs.

@SigandGibbs Brian contributed a lot, but not as many as Mercury. Roger & John would usually do 1-2 songs per album (1 usually)

It's true it's not Queen + Paul Rodgers but half of Queen and Rodgers.
But it's not unpleasant I think.

its a shame that they are back without the great FREDDY MERCURY
no one can ever be substitution for him :-(

It was also with Roger Taylor, but that band wasn't called Queen, 'till Freddie got on board, before that it was called Smile.
Get your facts straight next time.
Penguin619 3 years ago
If there was no Smile then there most likely wouldn't have been a Queen so YOU GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT, PENGUIN

"its a shame that they are back without the great FREDDY MERCURY"
Ok (a) he's dead, so how else could they come back? and (b) its FREDDIE not FREDDY, which a real fan would know.
