How much weight can it support? If in fact this beats the cost of using a gii and if it offers a superior training effect (in terms of training specificty), then I would get it, instead of using a gii or rope
WTF, just use a towel. LOL. Just train with good intention with what is available. Anyone who buys this product probably think wearing nike shoes make you a better bball player.
A towel won't provide you with the same feel as a sleeve. With a towel u r training not incorrectly but differently. We are taking specificity of training to the next level. Usually people do this exercise with the gi and hang on the lapels. The key in judo is being able to control the sleeve. Holding on to the sleeve is a LOT MORE DIFFICULT than holding on to a towel. And using a gi is very expensive & inconvenient. Usually you have to wait for a gi to go bad b4 you can use it to workout with.
Excellent training device for judo practitioners. We have been doing this for years with old judo uniforms to produce national champions - why we never thought of something this practical and convenient is beyond me. Leave it to a true champion like Rhadi to come up with it. I hope this catches on - the USA needs more international champions!
What a cool idea!

What a waste if a patent because I could use my towel to do the same stuff, duh! I could even use rope!

Invented or not, brillant anyway. He explains this kind of training may be done with gis but why wait the gi to be thorned up?
Cuebra 2 years ago
You invented them!?!?!?
We've been using old gi sleeves and lapels forever!!!
Cool product but it is more accurate to say you designed and manufactured these. You really didn't invent anything.
