It is indeed a great gear for this boss, but your brew method only works for people with OVL's. With a bit of ranged added to the corp, this will be a hell again...just like they did with Frosts.

You would not replace gano poncho for karils in every situation. For example, the fact that bandos hits with range shows how useless a gano poncho would be since it has almost no range defence while karils top has +50 range defence. It is true that the poncho gives crazy magic defence, negating the minion magic attacks, but the fact that bandos hits constant 200s with his range would prove to be much more beneficial to have greater range defence than magic.

Dude try at armadyl it doesn't look the greatest but if you think about it when praying range the damage you take is from mage and the melee barely hits so that would make an ultimate armadyl trip.

@Jones4679 Absorption only works when the attack you get hit with is over 200lp and with kree's max mage being 210..there aren't many chances to use ganodermic's effect, just focus on more range attack.

Actually, you're sort of wrong on taking the ganodermic poncho over karils top to bandos. Karils has decent ranged defence as well as magical defence which is why it's taken, along with a veracs skirt or tassets, for bandos. This is so that you get a good balance between magical and ranged defence, the two most important at bandos. The ganodermic poncho has awful ranged defence bonuses in comparison to the karils top (+5 versus +57) which actually means that, soloing, the kills/trip is the same.

@zarosmystic nex generally doesnt hit super high like corps mage, but more so with its melle and nex just hits a lot and fast. ganodermic also has no range stats so you would need to melle nex which would make that a problem seeing as she moves acorss the room in 2 seconds making it a big issue to melle her.

Divine + rapier isn't better because it isn't just about food, it's more about kills/hour*profit. Using less brews doesn't make up for much slower kills. Gearing back up and running to corp takes less than the time it would to half kill it.

Neither does whatever the actual price of ganodermic is for a measly 200minutes, takes too much out of your profits.

@conucssion zs is better trust me. give mugger a zs and let him try to kill as many corps as possible and hell get more than 2. rapier is pretty much as accurate as zs when i tried it, but it hits half the damage. and divine only absorbs 30% of damage taken. so leaving out the fact that you have a higher chance of dieing with zs rapier really isnt that good

@jwan1996 polypore staff is the best :) you should buy it, it hits the highest in-game and is also pretty cheap to use. storm of armadyl DOES have a higher dps, but its VERY expensive to use, so polypore staff is definitely better for pvm in general.
