A parrotlet is not a lovebird, the wiggle neck, is his or her way of trying to feed you. All birds do it. Nice to see hand rears do it, shows there very happy in their surroundings. cute bird btw.

hi suelfe, i wanted to let you know that what your parrotlet is doing is regurgitating (not vomiting) for you. it's advisable not to encourage any type of sexual behavior in any parrot, as it can lead to aggression, territorial behaviors, frustration, etc. there's a great by matthew vriends, "the parrotlet handbook" that explains more in depth various parrotlet behaviors. it's a good read. :)

My Pacific does the same thing. I think it has something to do with regurgitative feeding. If not, it's simply silliness.
