I love Sirius. He was an amazing man. He tried to save James and Lilly, but couldn't. Then he DID save Harry, and died in the process. I cried when I read the book, and when I watched the movie. In the last book when harry and hermione visits his parents grave it says that they were born 1960 and died 1981. They were 20 years old when they had harry. Sirius and James and Lily were in the same year so how could he be older or younger then them?!

If Sirius was born after September 1st in 1959 then he would be in the same year as Lily and James. Its like Hermione's birthdate, she's born in September sometime, the year before Harry and Ron were born yet she is in their year. Its all complicated, some people say Sirius was born in April of 1960 but no one really knows.
