  • Very Nice!

  • shame cant get cartridge pistols in england any more

  • That is a real shame that the company wouldnt make these, because that was one quick reload time, and made life alot easier.

  • Thank you for your kind comments about my Lodestar loading system, I did try to interest several firms without success, so have given up for now. It is good fun to use and if someone would market it I am sure it would be popular. Thanks for your interest. Best Wishes Trevor.

  • I would get a second companies opinion on production! It is a great system from the looks of it!

  • Where can you purchase this Loadster set up.

  • @larrydday Sorry but the Lodestar system is only a hand built prototype. I sent it to a specialist company in the US but they said it would be too expensive to manufacture. I do have a few of the Capping tools available for test, the price in the UK is between £40- £45 depending on the model. Pouches are available at £10.

If the Loadstar Capper is returned after testing I will refund the money plus your postage. Do let me know if you are interested, best wishes Trevor Deary.

  • Hey lodestar i hope you reply to this comment!

I am wanting to get into cap n ball shooting, where are you based? or where did you get your supplies such as powder and lead balls

also finally quickly do you need a FAC and a blackpowder to shoot the period pieces dated back before 1870 or only if you buy guns such as the ruger old army.

    best regards

  • @ThePurcy You do need an FAC if you want to shoot original guns although most people would consider them too valuable to fire. Cap and Ball revolvers are great fun to shoot and quite accurate. You should be able to obtain the necessary items where you live. A licence is required to purchase black powder but not to buy Pyrodex or Triple 7 powder. Try looking in Gun Mart magazine. I live in Norwich Norfolk. Best wishes Lodestar.

  • @lodestar60 Ah ok thats fine! i wont bother buying a antique piece then unless for collecting!!! thank you very much for replying appreciate it love your videos of these cap n ball revolvers, fabulous guns.

Time to look at uberti cap n balls then! :D hehe thanks again.

    Adam.

  • is that a cerinng u have for puting in the grese

  • Dear ballygeale, yes it is a syringe modified by glueing in a piece of curved brass tubeing . The petroleum jelly is warmed in a stainless steel dish until the edge melts a little, the liquid is then sucked up into the syringe which is then stood up on end to cool. I use no wads, just put a little jelly over each bullet. No problems using this system over the last 5 years.Best Wishes Trevor.

  • I assume you made this powder dispenser. Do you sell them? What did you use for your grease dispenser? Looks like a syringe. Interesting.

  • Very fast ,where have you find this interesting "powder measure"?

  • @lai974

  • I have got one of your cappers. Well pleased with it. Hope it stands the test of time.

  • That was a pretty fast reload for a cap and ball.

  • Ok so where do i get one
