Doesn't really suit the game at all. Quake 2 shouldn't even be counted as part of the Quake series, it was a slow unoriginal insult to the first game. This style of music does not fit in the Quake 1 universe at all.

I liked Quake II, the music was a little too upbeat, I think it needed the more ambient "shit its the end of the world" type music that Quake I had, but the gameplay was fun.

And also, the music is great, it just didn't suit the game it was placed in.
