just for all you people who believe in this just take note of my words: i offered £5,000 for a reading but got NO RESPONSE ? some guy from new zealand offered to help me so i gave him a clue as to what i do & i offered to fly all the way to new zealand to meet him but then i never heard from him again even though he had nowhere to live and lets be honest " £5,000 would have been a life saver " if he were genuine..lastly mr. fry & the old man that took over his body???? please WAKE UP..

How can he pick up out of no-where the cancellation of book flights, the welsh song the mother liked and other parts that you wouldn't consider very vague?

I had a one-to-one with him before he did tv and I'm very secretive with what I share with others, but the things he said were true that no-one else could have found out.

I was sceptic at first, but you should see him with an open mind. You don't have to say anything back to him to reveal etc, just listen.

i tried to get a 1 to 1 with him but all i was told was "he is too busy" and i would have paid handsomely...his assistant told me he had turned down £10,000 offered for a 1 to 1????? she said he only charges a small fee but i still had no chance of a reading!!!!! @dylans8 We will have to disagree In my opinion psychics use cold reading and hot reading and a huge amount of guesswork.Plus the tv shows are heavilly edited to leave out misses of which there are usually many. There is no doubt that psychics are unable to give simple information for eg say My fathers day month and year of death or the name of the ship he sailed in during ww2.They fish for people who react to say a c name or a b name.No psychic has ever proved that they contact anyone

@dylans8: I think that if he employed a hot reading technique he would have been debunked long ago. Keep in mind Colin Fry has done public TV readings for years and is seen by millions. Because of this there are a great number of skeptics who seek to debunk him. If Colin Fry did things like browse blogs and find dirt on people, you would think at least one skeptic would have created a false profile for themselves by now and would have been called on.

@AnduinX well of course he has been debunked .the fact is that he and other psychics constantly refuse to be tested in a controlled environment .A fair test which would only require the psychic to demonstrate what he or she claim to be able to do. As far as the video you recommended is concerned - well straight away he gets it wrong why if he can hear the words benolyn and kaolin and morphine did he not know that the person was 75 not 70 or 71.

I would suggest that he got the feeling of a number, not the literal number in his mind. What is your explanation for the hits he demonstrated in this video? They are well beyond the scope of chance or cold reading.

I have seen plenty of readings where a psychic medium has demonstrated knowledge of things only known to the deceased. The problem with your example is that it assumes that if this is real, that it must be in the form of direct verbal communication, and that's not necessarily true.

@AnduinX well again we have to disagree. There has never been any proof demonstrated in a controlled environment by any psychic. Most psychics refuse to be tested and come up with lots of excuses. If i could do what Mr Fry claims I would be straight over to Prof Chrs French to demonstrate my psychic ability . It would be one of the great discoverys that we survive death and can communicate back . question is why do they refuse ? Randi is offering 1.2 mill dollars not one taker in 40 yrs

In order to believe the Randi challenge is evidence you have to start with the assumption that Randi is honest and intends to give away the money if somebody meets his standards.

I consider them to be cold and hot readers who use linguistic trickery to fool people into believing. If i were to ask a psychic to tell me my Mothers maiden name for example would i get an answer? psychics work on info we give them

@dylans8: I don't assume that psychics are honest at all, whenever I watch any of these kinds of videos I open notepad and write down every prediction they make. I then look at things from an outside perspective and try to calculate the odds of the hits and misses. I favor direct statements over statements phrased as questions. I consider that a position of neutrality. I do think that something well beyond chance or cold reading has been clearly demonstrated. That's my opinion.

@AnduinX: There has been research done on the subject, extensively. The society for psychical research has been publishing peer reviewed papers in their journals for decades. Recently an ESP affirming study was even published in the lancet. Most research done in the field is small scale because the budget is small scale, but there are numerous small-scale experiments that have yielded positive results.
