  • If Christianity not back to Jewish root.....Surely it is dangerous for every single christian on faith on YHWH......"the 2nd Martin Luke but not think as negative as his life is"

Refine the church by spiritual Fire of YHWH, we then will see the truth.....

    idol worshipping is dangerous.....

  • So since we are now the temple of the Living God, does Satan enter us with lying signs and wonders, showing himself that he is god?

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

  • Thanks! Very informative. Did John ever get the opportunity to measure the temple, the altar, and the people who worshipped thereon as instructed in Rev. 11:1? What do the historians say? Did anyone ever see John at the temple with a measuring stick in his hand measuring the temple and lining the worshippers up to take their measurments?

  • If the Temple is standing then 666/616 could be Nero (and the abbreviation reading Khi-Iota-Sigma as Khimairos=Goat would fit) and he could be the sixth 'king who is not a king' since the Caesars were 'life president' dictators not hereditary kings - so much so that the Senate passed death sentence on Nero but some believed him still alive when he fled (He wasn't). But Vespasian and sons Titus and Domitian put the Jewish Revolt down so were The Enemy Power, Armageddon lost, maybe John backdates

  • you people are so pathetic. analyzing 2000 year old text put together by the church. i mean for 1500 years people thought moses had horns because of one mistranslation. you all need to come join us in the real world and put your ripped off greek mythologies down.

  • I hardly think so, my misinformed friend. The Bible is a reliable collection of historical documents, written by eyewitnesses during the lifetimes of other eyewitnesses. They report supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies. And, they claim their writings are Divine, not human, in origin. This comes from 2 Peter 1:16-21, unless you think I'm using circular reasoning...

  • Historians all agree that the Bible is a historical document. They may not believe in God or the miracles that were performed... but why would so many people go to their death at the hands of their persecutors if they did not see real miracles that were performed to authenticate Jesus and the apostles and those they imparted the gift too. All they had to do is deny Christ in and claim Caesar as King verbally? Do you believe they went to their deaths based on a fairy tale? I think not...

  • Actually, the mistranslation was because of Italian error, so, it wouldn't have been 1,500 years. The word, "glory" and "horns" are similar in that translation.

I do however share your skepticism about taking these religious texts seriously. Inmy opinion, they are all recycled mythologies from earlier Mesopotamian/Sumerian beliefs.

  • This is very interesting, but I disagree with Ken on that the book of Revelation is not hard to understand. The confusion arises when you take the symbolic literal and the literal and make it symbolic. If you interpret the book literally except when it says its symbolic, it actually makes sense.

  • What about the Naga Hamadi, the Dead Sea Scrolls, etc.... How would you handle them???

  • How do I handle them pertaining to what?

  • when John is writing, the temple is standing. Excellent.

  • I'd say that when ALL the New Testament books were written, the Temple was standing.

There MIGHT be an exception made for the shorter general Epistles -- 2&3 John, Jude and MAYBE the Gospel of John and 1 John.

Many liberals have been swayed to a conservative position on dating the New Testament by realizing what a colossal event was the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. to the mind of a first century Jewish convert to Christ.

This ought to convince dispensationalists too.

  • If this is true then the scholars that say the book of Revelation was written in the 90s AD must be wrong. The book of Rev. must to have been written before 70AD ?

  • And Vespasian is emperor.

  • I read this book and i thought it was a good book. I really like this video it helps me understand it more

  • I'd really like to get this book as well. This is astounding information. I just wonder if the Book of Revelation and it's writings have a continuous fulfillment of it's prophecies? Because the whole thing seems to be talking about the END OF TIME. So this is very confusing if John was speaking only about that time period.
