same problem here...

but i think i'd go for omnia 2, it has more applications on windows mobile...

and even though the camera is 3MP less than omnia HD, but it takes decent pictures...

plus the size of omnia HD is a little bit large, omnia 2 would just fit comfortably in our hands...=)...

both are inferior to Omnia II, HD2 however beats Omnia II (but when you factor in the price of the respective device, the answer could be different (depends on your budget))

I'm **very** concerned about when you take the Omnia II in sunlight as the reviewer said, it has a milky appearance and is washed out quite a bit, in contrast to what Samsung claims on it website, bragging that as compared to LCD, it does not get washed out. Just advertising I guess which you can't trust.

On of the things that i find weird is that the omnia Star, Jet, Omnia 2, Preston all look the same the only difference is that the Omnia 2 is a little bigger. If you look at the omnia HD its looks totally different and if you ask me its looks way better than the others. And personally i prefer the Omnia HD over the Omnia 2 or Jet.

Omnia HD is an older model, it came out in March in the UK whereas Omnia II has only just come out. And Preston, Star do not look like Omnia 2. But Jet and Omnia 2 have exactly the same design, but that's only becos they have more or less the same functionality (except Omnia II is a WM smartphone and is more powerful and Jet is a Symbian featurephone)

The jet is samsungs own OS, not windows.Although Jet should be a little beauty it will be a mobile phone only.Not a smart phone

Hey Brandon, the milky white screen outside in the sun is just characteristic of Samsung phones. My Omnia as milky white screen under bright sun. So I'm thinking its not just the AMOLED screen.

Oh I had no idea that middle hardware button launched the cool looking task switcher.  This could seriously be my next phone, just going to wait to see what HTC has coming. Might even ditch WM altogether but theres hope yet.
