Dude, it's an 03'. It was probably on it's 3rd top end. That wrist pin and crank bearings can only wear so far. You were rapping fairly hard but not hard enough to blow a good engine. I don't rock 2 strokes myself but, I've seen guys run them waaaay harder than that.

He free revved that bike waaaay too much. High RPMs with no load causes cylinder scuffing. Also a really good way to blow up a perfectly good motor is to have it under heavy load and then yank the clutch without lifting the throttle... Exactly like he did.
If your rebuilds are up to date and your bike is maintained properly, you should have no trouble revving your bike like this. I bet he'll run rings around half of yous that are commenting
Why are you coasting through the berms? On a track like that, you should by full out most of the way around. You should lean that thing over, put your foot out and use those berms to catapult you, don't slow down and take the inside in second gear, those turns were sweet, I almost couldn't watch this! Go back to your 450 and PRACTICE!!

@jasonmccoll he was riding it just fine. Its a 2 stroke. Theyre meant to be ridden up top. Four strokes have more bottom so they can be lugged more. U gotta ring a 125's neck to be fast. Do some research or just move out of the d class and u would know this. Watch the jimmy decotis 2 stroke videos. Perfect example

Sounded like the ring stuck. U people are retarded. Dirt bikes have rev limiters. U could hold this bike wide open for a mile and it would be fine. Its a fucking 125 2stroke. U have to ring its neck to go fast on a track. Thats how 2 strokes r meant to be ridden. It was probably just time for a top end. I do mine every 15-20 hrs

@JkeeneMX607 actually only four strokes have limiters and yes you do have to ring a 125s neck but this guy was brekaing its neck with out shifting he had it at the highest rev for a long time repeatedly you can over revlike he was just not as long it is horrible for a two stroke but you can ride them hard i do agree with that

He free revved that bike waaaay too much. High RPMs with no load causes cylinder scuffing. Also a really good way to blow up a perfectly good motor is to have it under heavy load and then yank the clutch without lifting the throttle... Exactly like he did.

If your rebuilds are up to date and your bike is maintained properly, you should have no trouble revving your bike like this. I bet he'll run rings around half of yous that are commenting

First Mistake: Unlike a 4 Stroke, a 2 Stroke needs to warm up before you start revving the engine.
Second Mistake: You only have to rev the engine once when you pop the clutch! There is no need for unnecessary revving.
Third Mistake: SHIFT!!!! Theres a another gear for a reason!!!!

Why are you coasting through the berms? On a track like that, you should by full out most of the way around. You should lean that thing over, put your foot out and use those berms to catapult you, don't slow down and take the inside in second gear, those turns were sweet, I almost couldn't watch this! Go back to your 450 and PRACTICE!!
