To me, tweener means someone the fans don't cheer or boo. Usually its a transitional stage that sees wrestlers going from heel to face or the vice versa.

Austin's described as a tweener a lot but I personally think he sort of transcended heel and face.

Yeah but if I recall after their match at No Mercy 1999 they were made tweener (since it was such a phenomenal showcase).

The New Brood was a very brief stable (mostly since the Hardys were getting far more over than Gangrel was and as such WWF saw no need to keep the group together). After they actually became the Hardy Boyz they were face and stayed face all the way until Matt moved to Smackdown and became V1 (so pretty much their entire WWF tag team career).

This isn't the correct music. The music in WWF sounded Heavier with like more guitar this was their team music when they weren't in the brood. So this is the wrong music which messes up the titantron.

The Brood was a creepy stable lead by Gangrel. I remember Edge and Christian were members at one time or another. Then they broke and then the Hardy Boyz joined up with Gangrel to form the "New Brood". After that it just faded away. It wasn't a big deal.

Actually The brood started out as a stable of just Edge, Christian, and Gangrel they later joined the Ministry of darkness before leaving because Edge and Gangrel refused to "Punish" Christian.

I'm such a fanboy that I remember this. So allow me to explain. The brood originally consisted of Gangrel, Edge and Christian, but then E&C turned on Gangrel, so Gangrel "found" the "New Brood", but after their LEGENDARY ladder match, Jeff & Matt told everyone "We're not the New Brood, we're the Hardys" and the Hardy Boyz took off!
