  • @JETZcorp It's Railking tradItional size train so it's smaller and less detailed it's not like full scale locos.

  • Train looks amazing! But sadly I find the 3 track thing abit.. unrealistic.

  • nice loco but 3 rail looks funky. looks like a double mainline that is way too close

  • Subbed. Cool indoor layout. But check out my Kent & North Wales Light Railway for a live steam INDOOR layout.

  • Gosh, the 3 rail system just looks too darn lame... I love trains and I collect myself, but cmon, 3 rails was old old old system that was done due to technical difficulty making it isolated wheel. But today shouldn't it be time to upgrade that sucker already?

  • @digimaks it does look a little bit silly as we are used to 2 rails all over the world but lionel's track design is classic. also, if you changed it, nobody would be able to use their old trains on the new track

  • isnt this train also called a golden state or somthing

  • What scale/Guage is this?

  • @Deathawaitsnoone O gauge, 3 rail

  • Cool loco , I run my trains at this layout every month , I am in the San Diego 3-railers club , youth program and it is cool I collect HO and o gauge

  • Wake up random bored boy. Actually, I'm not suprised he's bored stiff. It's SO SLOW. Speed up, lets get some action here people!

  • wonderful!!!

  • That kid looks so bored!!

  • I know looks like he wants an MTH Premier One or nOt want and MTH one

    Maybe a Lionel One

  • I had to get an n scale layout because of space limits. But I still like it.

  • I've always preferred HO scale, it seems to have the best balance of detail When you get up this big, they begin to look like toys, and anything smaller starts to sacrifice the smaller details out of practicality. It's all great, though.

  • @JETZcorp I just finished my new model, it's a mountain with a lake and tunnels and its jsut so beautifull! I love it, I have 2 trains riding around now, gonna buy some more old ones tomorrow!

  • @JETZcorp - I think it's the tight radius set-track curves that contribute to the toylike appearance of O-gauge. But space usually precludes large-radius curves unless you're running outside.

  • nice train

  • beatiful

  • I discuss the steam engine on my site feel free to take a look and let me know what you think

  • i'm gonna get one of these in n scale and it will OWN!!!!

  • is the daylight slamming on its brakes the whole time. kid you have to be lucky that you get to control such great train

  • i have the primer one. sooo much beter

  • I have that same loco. Too bad my PS2 pooped out on me!

  • What you mean pooped out??

  • That kid looks bored stiff. Wake up boy, the coolest model train in the world just passed you by!!!

  • Indeed

  • I know right. That's one of my favorite steam locomotives. There just some things in the world that you want and you don't have and other people have it and they don't like it.

  • @neomrdo

rite , that is one of the coolest trains, i wood kill to have one

  • @neomrdo Hey offensive. That kid is me

  • kol

  • Er... make that two head LIGHT front. I'll leave now... lol

  • The 1st Daylight, in March 1937 was pulled by the new GS-2 locomotives, with one headlight (#'s 4410 thru 4415), these were followed by the GS-3, with one headlight, but with larger 80" drivers. The GS-4 as in this video and the GS-5 were the ones with a headlight plus Mars light. The GS-6 reverted to the single headlight. Do a YouTube search for the opening credit for "The Adventures of Superman", the SP Daylight in that sequence is pulled by the single headlight GS-2. Both are nice.

  • DOH! Just noticed it does have the two headfront front. Is my face red... :)

  • That is nice, but that daylight would be alot better if it was made by MTH with DCS being used

  • I'm pretty sure that's what it is... The only thing I don't like is the boiler front. The Daylight just doesn't look right without the extra Mars Light.

  • The light wasn't turned on. My son was controlling the daylight in Conventional mode. This wasn't our layout. It's the layout at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum San Diego 3Railers exhibit.

Also the Engine is an upgraded MTH Proto 1 I upgraded with the MTH proto 2 kit.

  • That is good... You likd ProtoSound2.0 better I suppose.

I would like to see this engine running in Command mode, to see if it runs like my Daylight.
