Like to be honest vista was a great OS, its just that the people who made it thought everyone had 4 GBs of RAM and 5.0 Ghz of CPU lol. MS developed it's own technology that have more than just multitouch, but also shape recognition and data transfer, because it's based on infrared cameras or emitters.

Multitouch is standard in everything new, I have a phone that is really old and has touch screen and windows mobile and I guess the touch screen in the iphone is a copy of that. Buzz of with ur apple pride.

"features" shown are really junk, I just hate when people demonstrate zooming and rotating with multitouch tecnology, because it's silly, you can do that with mouse lot faster. but that doesn't mean the whole multitouch technology is a junk, for example it would be very useful to control multiple parameters on some apps, especially musical, so there would be less need in midi controllers.

So many of those features are superfluous. I don't care about being able to make waves in the water of play a touch screen piano. It seams the only feasible application that you could use that orbital menu is with that map. I've been a long time PC user and that's only because it was shoved down my throat. Touchscreen wasn't apple's idea so its ridiculous to say they r copying it. I have a touchscreen phone, older then an iphone, and its Microsoft software and everything. Then this multitouch thing, its just a tiny little idea apple added. Plus,if apple can't sue Microsoft, it shows that Microsoft has the patent too, so either they developed it together or its a copy, which doesn't matter. Like Nokia said when it copied the iphone: "we don't care, the costumers r there they'll buy what they like".

firstly it was 11 years ago it happened in 1997 not 1998. They not longer have a partnership it ended in 2001 when they sold off the shares. MS made office for the mac, i dont use it but at least its out there for the ones who do.

okay so how fast is this processor if its 8 years old I'm guessing its very slow. Mine is 2.2Ghz intel core 2 duo in reality its 4.4Ghz as it has two cores. 2GB RAM 120GB hard drive getting a 500GB drive for it before end of this year

there not double the price at xmas time 2007 Apple's MacBook laptop sold for 829 UK pounds, it had a 2.2Ghz Processor, 1GB RAM, X3100 graphics, dell had a computer same price which had a 1.83Ghz processor 1GB ram & slower graphics, don't get it. to get it similar specs of the MacBooks it would of cost almost a 1000 pounds

some how i don't think so, Apple make a program called Final cut studio, its the industry standard in film editing almost every hollywood movie is edited or composited with final cut. I have it. Its amazing the only competitor is after affects & thats not a patch on final cut its very limited, somehow i think iMovie is better than movie maker as well

Bill gates did help apple like I said, but still I don't like MS, there products are low grade & it has to support too much hardware causing many issues everything just works with a mac, even my external HD-DVD burner which says windows only works fine in Mac OS X

I have 2 1 terabyte external HDs because I need space for the I think 2000 mivoes, anyway. The processor is about 1,8ghz, which is enough for what I do, I like it because I work a lot on simple think like making programs and stuff, I don't need speed, just a simple to use laptop that I can play with easily.
