This will be the fight of year I am a big fan of both boxers. They are both real boxing warriors and both wear there heart on there sleve in the ring. expect a long hard fight with both fighters being hurt, cut, wobbled, low blows and possibly a late stoppage 10th 11th although a points verdict is likely....... This fight will put 2 years on Ricky... But he will win it !!!

As much as I like Hatton, I don't think he should be immediately P4P greatest even if he could beat Pacman comfortably. If Ricky thinks this he's much mistaken. His P4P rating would undoubtedly increase and Pacman's would decrease, but you cannot expect to be catapulted to No. 1 status just because you beat the man. you need to win against several top P4P stars to stake your claim. Beating Marquez next or winning a Mayweater rematch would qualify him though.

Mayweather Sr. is training Hatton and in the last fight he looked like a better boxer, but he still needs work. Hatton has bower and he is aggressive he should keep that. I've seen the trainings and in speed and coordination Hatton is still having a hard time. It would be great if he surprises the boxing world by beating him. The important thing is that this will be a great fight. If Hatton wins he will have a variety of options in 140 and 147.

I think Freddie Roach would plan a fight against Cotto if Cotto gets a belt against Jennings and a win over Margarito or Mosely. Why Cotto?? Well Cotto is a great fighter. Cotto is also closer to Paquiao in height than the other welterweight champions and last and not least he's a big name. They are both aggressive and at one time they were both named the two most entertaining boxers. They are both fast and they are both strong. If that fight does happen there will be a lot of money.

i think pacman got this too much power and stamina, but as far as defense he needs some polish. he is known to forsake defense for offense. hatton has power and is currently working on his defense and it showed in his last fight but once again his stamina is in question.

I like what Don said, there's no way of really keeping Hatton off you, unless you're Mayweather. Which Manny is not. I think this could be a very hard fight for Manny, to beat Ricky, you gotta be able to avoid his rushes, and counter, Pac's not great in that category. Ricky rushes in so quickly, Pac might not have enough time to set up and get off good punches, hell, Mayweather barely was able to adapt, and he's an all time great.

Pacman will NOT kill Hatton. He may win, but it'll be war.

As far as Pac-Hatton goes I c it as an easy fight for Pac. His movement and body rhythm will make him a difficult target for Hatton to find. Hatton will have trouble getting inside on Pac which will nullify Hatton's biggest advantages. I c Pac wearing Hatton down by landing his left early on. Hatton was hurt by Lazcano's left twice n ofcoarse the May check hook.

Manny is on top of his game right now. He's improved his footwork and is a lot more patient and picks his shots, but don't get it twisted...he'll brawl if he needs to.

I just don't see physically and stylistically how Hatton will beat Pacquiao. His last 3 fights were a KO from Floyd, barely escaping a decision against an inactive Juan Lazcano, and a KO over Pauli Malignaggi (which he didnt look too great in either)
