@redneckrollercoast1 wtf read the description it doesnt have this pipe on it any more. plus it will not burn the valves u morron. valves burn when cold are rushes to them when there hot. because of the lenght of the pipe and the curves this cannot happen at all. I dont give a flying fuck what u think. I know wtf im talking about.
If you want to straight pipe the best way is to get 2 cheap mufflers from tractor supply for 5$ each then run them out the ass end. Also your valves will suffer due to that pos pipe
yeah well since theres a lack of back pressure, the engine isnt running as rich as it should be (lean), which also means its burning hotter. so you will eventually damage your valves if you dont jet out your carb to richen the AF ratio. good day to you angry sir.
i need help., but if i use just a straight pipe like i mean straight no bends or what not. will it hurt the engine? like i screw it in the pushing lawnmower instead of the tiny muffler on there. that like a tiny pipe and a big circle on the end. like the pipe is straight with no holes just one on each end and 1 side has threads which obviously screws in..... will it hurt this pushing lawnmower engine like a 3 hp i think not to sure but yeah plz someone answer. and if you need more info reply
I did that, well i was racing my mower in modified stock, and someone in front of me slamed and breaks and rolled and it pulled the end pipe off from the head pipe, i have to so i can just slip pipes on. and i kept going not wasting time in pit and later on KABOOM, my whole engine blew. Piston Jug, Crank even the connection rode shattered. had to call a caution cause metal parts all over the track.
just because it has no pipes dosent make it a racing mower... a racing mower is SAFE, LOW, and STABLE, which are qualities no stock framed mower possesses! Anyway my 27hp craftsman will pull that hardkore racin mowa around all day 24/7 idling.
u got that right your tractor sounds awesome and his tractor probably sounds like shit. i have a racing lawn tractor and it needs a new exhaust pipe. im switching to a straight pipe to. plz suscribe to me
you need to make your pipe longer, just cutting it off right at the muffler will cause your valves to burn up so try to make it longer plus it will most likely sound better if its longer
yea my mowchine has a 450 pipe almost like a dump but it has enought to not back fire crazy and runs smooth....some engines need back pressure even win hauling ass pulling weight....2 cyc engines are wont even start half the time without a exspantion chamber.lol
anyways if you want to see the 450 dump/pipe i have a vid of it....if so
back pressure has nothing to do with burning valves. back pressure increases torque. the way valves get burned is when they are really hot the cold air can shoot through the short pipe and warp them. the pipe adam had on was curved and about 1.5 ft long
Good way to fuck your vavles up dumb Ass

Bigtrucker2007 3 years ago
yes it will burn the valves if you dont have enough back pressure... i welded a washer inside of mine so it has alot of pressure now.
