Canon powershot G10 with 0.45x wide angle adapter

you can zoom but not all the way. i no longer have this camera so i cant answer all queations. i think the diameter of the thread is 67mm.

dont know if it will fit the g12.

@kupaevIvideo The reason i did this vid was not to show off it was to show people that you can use adapters like this one on the G10. Since when the camera was new there was many people asking the same question.

Well it might be worth it..Think i got this kit for like 20 bucks on ebay. It will NOT be as sharp with the converter attached. There will also be black corners. If you want to get wide angles..maby a rather rough look on your photos this is a very good trick.

G11, less megapixels and some other new features. Skip the 10 and go for the 11 or some other camera. Maby panasonic LX3 or a ricoh.

Hey i also have just purchased a Canon G10 and am just wondering do the lenses affect the quality? should i bother getting one? and can u get ones that adjust like other lenses for the EOS and stuff

i've G9 n in my opinion it is pointless to add adapter n lenses to this series. the weight n dimensions make it bulky to carry it then n defeats the purpose of having a small camera. If you do wildlife photography or want to use telephoto, zoom lenses etc, then it's better to go with a DSLR as a second camera. the adapter n lenses on G9 or G10 make it even bigger than basic DSLR as the lens is always protruding making it neither a proper DSLR nor basic daily use camera. but it's a great camera!

well i got this kit for 30 dollars. You probably get what you pay for to a certain price point. But i dont think the very expensive ones are that much better if you look at price/performance.
