I really liked the Visual Memory Unit Concept. If they made another Dreamcast, they could make VMU mini games like psp. How about another system that follows the Nomad concept? A portable system which is back compatible with Saturn, Dreamcast, and Dreamcast 2 games; allows other controllers to connect for multiplayer games, plugs into the tv to function as both a portable and home-based system, with wi-fi and optional touch screen with sega apps similar to the ipod touch concept. Would kick ass

I love playing the Dreamcast. It's like a time machine that takes me back to a time when life wasn't so hectic. When games were more based on storyline, replay value, uniqueness and 2nd player was a person sitting next to you sharing experiences with you, instead of online gaming and never once seeing that person. I like online games, I got several, but still can't beat the hyped feeling you get with a buddy playing right next to you. Dreamcast, IMO, last of the classic consoles. 09/09/1999 <3

Sega always will be my favorite when it comes to console making but do we really need another console competing with PS3, Wii, and Xbox? the last gaming generation was the best imo, but i was 9 when the dream cast came out and i didnt have one, but be and my friend played power stone 1 and 2 a lot. between the xbox, dreamcast, ps2 and gamecube, the best game franchises came out, consoles went online, games were over flowing, games were being used in professional tournaments, it wasnt as expensive to create games, competition between companies were fierce and it was all affordable (remember $50 games lol)

@Segaforever1 actually it was the PS2 that killed the dreamcast, the first xbox was VERY unsuccessful in japan. also copy protection was not up to par so it was easy for people to pirate games rather that buy them. That is also why so many homebrews still come out on it.

sega dream cast shouldve had been released in the year od 2009 because the dream cast was too way ahead of its time and the sonic game they have for ps3 the dream cast had already so the sega company shouldve have waited so that it couldve competed against the ps3 and xb360 and to think dream cast was the first system to actually have internet access for multi player battles for those who did not know......

It wasn't the better system at all. It was MAYBE better than the N64 but it just didn't get enough good games. Sure, there was Sonic Adventure, Jet Set Radio, but the N64 had Mario 64, Zelda, Goldeneye etc and the PS2 blown everyone out of the water with Tekken, Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy X etc.

I still like the Dreamcast, but it was too advanced for the time it was released.

Actually kid the dreamcast was not only abetter system than the n64 hut it had a much better library than the ps2. In fact most of the best games on ps2 are just ports of Dreamcast games. like Resident Evil Code Veronica, Powerstone 2, Marvel vs Capcom 2 Dead or Alive which any game magazine will tell that the Dreamcast version was better. Not to mention the orginal sega owned properties like Skies of Arcadia, House of the Dead 2, Phantasy Star Online the 2K sports games.Should I keep going?

i love sega from the genesis till the dreamcast,32x aside.sega cd sega genesis saturn dreamcast all major consoles,even sega cd had some superb game alotught they differed a little from the genesis,it had Q sound.

32x had Shadow Squadron, which was an Awesome 3D Space Flight Sim that wasn't a rail ride like SW Arcade. Also Virtual Racing was pretty good. My only complaint with having the Genesis "fully stacked" was that you need a whole power strip for the the thing since all the modules had their own power adapter.

Well its library of good games can be counted on one hand, and because of its failure, not many know what was even on the 32x. Its best games weren't very well known. Still, overall it had a crappy game selection with those few exceptions, and the 32x CD selection was a complete disaster. I guess having to write a game with code for all three modules was very complicated.
