Where it says "In Formation" Change that to "Flying"

It only works for Aircraft and empty vehicles though. If you have a Flying Empty Tank, it will just fall from the sky and explode

hmm, well make sure you have your mouse aiming at the unit then press delete.

if you have a group of people you want deleted then just aim mouse at them and hold down delete and they'll go away real fast ;D

1. making sure its on F1 or units

2. double click on the map where you want to palce a unit,a nd a window will show up.

also if you hit F2 which is groups you can place groups or squads of a unit on the map the same way. everything you do is with a double mouse click in terms of placing them on the map.

Cheers James but I found that out after as soon as I finished watching the video, but I uninstalled the game because for some reason everytime I play, even with low graphics It lags like shit and weird thing is I can play Fallout 3 with high graphics :S (ArmA is an old game made in 2005 I think and Fallout 3 is made in 2008, usely the new games can cause way more lag).

But sad sad sad :( I play with Fallout 3 on low graphics though, only for recording, cuz it lags like crap on high grapihcs :(

Buy another and go SLI :) They just fixed the sli drivers and it runs great with two 8800.. Sorry I dont know any tweaks maybe try nhancer for good game settings?

before i played on low detail's with shitty fps and now with a patch it run great on high/normal settings and looks awesome

the mission editor won't let you make empty vehicles until you've placed the Player on the map. I always do that first.

I'd kind of agree with you a little. Sometimes it does just look a little unrealistic. but sometimes for me when the light is right and I'm in a good environment it can look photo realistic. it just needs more work.. ARMA 2 will another evolution of OFP, Let's hope it's not too bug ridden for the start like ARMA was.

You're exactly right, you can make missions and stuff with the program shown above, but you'll need a different program to create Islands. I suggest everyone who wants help and tips on mission editing to look around at OFPEC and the BIS forums.

Maybe you have conflicting addons? what addons have you put into your addons folder, and what updates is your ArmA game using?

3rd part addons? I did reinstall the game, nothing worked, I searched "Arma.Cfg" file and 5 of them came up, 2 of them are in C: file, the others are hidden

Wow I envy you with your 8800 GTX, I would love that card, the TrackIR looks like it works pretty well also.. I love this game too, and mission editing for me in OFP was primary, I just loved it!! Oh if it helps anyone, I have a GeForce GO 7600 with 512 mb and can run the game pretty high on graphics, not maxed, but looks nice, although I would still love to have that 8800 GTX :P Very nice video!

Yeah In desert area's high is fine. But in hilly forest. There probobaly aint any silicon that can handle it.. hopefully further improvements of the game will reep performance gains.

i have a vista pc. 2.4GHz with 2GB of RAM, 8800 GTS graphics card and a vista 5.3 rating, you know what i mean if u go into system properties. Also a 21" widescreen (not that it makes a difference) will arma work? i have heard it just dies but im hoping that putting it into compatability mode for XP will do something. How did you get yours to work or was it fine anyway. Will it work with mine ( i have no doubt about the specs, its just vista)

I have never had a problem with it running in Vista. I had problems with textures on the 8800GTX, but this is solved not with the 163 nv drivers. Just make sure you get the 1.8 update for arma and don't try to run it maxed out. ;)
