Hey John, I'm ordering some yamaha absolutes in black pearl fade but I cant pick between birch or maple.If you could have just one...what would it be? thanks! As far as lessons go...are you close to rockland or westchester?

Yes! That is the piont. To take an Element and improv with it on the different parts of the kit. So, yes, it is random! :)

I like the way you round out the sixteenth notes instead of nailing them with "correct" quantification. Very latin-ish.
