  • Boros decks: Favorable match-ups.... other Boros decks.

  • So as a new player to this game anyone willing to send me a link or msg about building a good deck? I like white cards but I don't know if I should mix in other colors. All I have is about 600 cards of New Phyreixa... someone help me make a killer deck lol

  • a foil elspeth cannot be target by spells or abilities? hahahaha ive seen many vids here in youtube where they totally ignore using the blightning on a planeswalker.

  • maybe have used the blightning on elspeth ? or dident he know he could do that?

  • Wow, jund players are so talented at cascade.

  • Both decks look so purty!

  • in response to the lightning bold on the geopede, why didn't he crack the arid mesa to keep it alive and swing in for more?

  • @Hoshiningen geopede is 1/1 so if you crack the arid it becomes a 3/3 and he still dies of the bolt.

  • @brent7137 He played a terramorphic expanse this turn triggering the landfall, inresponse to the crack trigger he throws the bolt, in respnse to the bolt he should have cracked the mesa, trigger 2 landfalls before the bolt actually hits, causing it to be a 5/5.

  • @Hoshiningen your mixing up the whole trigger. You have a 1/1 and play a land. Landfall goes on the stack. In response you lighting bolt it. the creature now has 3 damage coming at it. If you crack your land, you will trigger land fall again. First land fall resloves, creature is a 3/3. Lighting bolt deals 3 damage. Creature dies, last land fall resolves.

  • @carthwolf he played a land for turn triggering landfall, and going to 3/3. He declares attacks, and the opponent declares no blocks. To try and sneak in extra damage, he cracks the terramorphic expanse. The opponent plays a bolt (which is actually a terminate, by the way) which gives the player priority back, to crack his arid mesa. The mesa landfall triggers first, and would pump to 5/5, then bolt would resolve, dealing 3 damage, then the next landfall, pumping again.

  • @Hoshiningen There was no bolt played. It was a terminate.

  • @carthwolf Yup, I realized that when I went back through to check my triggers. Not sure why I thought it was bolt.

  • @Hoshiningen

clearly only one of the triggers would be in effect for the bolt.

  • a blue+anyothercolor deck beats jund to the ground, especialy blue-red or grixis

  • good game but is there any advise on beating a jund deck that wins on 4-6 turns?

my friends and i need help taking it down. even against another jund deck.ours is no match.

do u think a fast draw/burn deck work.?

  • Wow, huge misplay with the blightning.

  • Hi, i want to know if i can find in youtube the video where a BURN deck wins a JUND deck in Kuala Lumpur??

  • where can I get a deck holder like the one in the opening? thx

  • Junnnnd!

  • and the skill required to play jund shines! lol jk..

  • nvm i see now that was dumb

  • on turn one why did you crack arid mesa you could have got extra damage with steppe lynx

  • OMG i'm still on my quest to getting 3 garruks. rofl

  • Jund is still a dominate figure at the tournaments... however people have found solid ways to deal with it.

  • yeah if your whole deck is built JUST to beat a certain deck. for example, celestial purge, ruinblaster, etc etc. those are used JUST to target jund lol. i.e. the worlds naya deck vs jund. the naya deck was built just for the jund.

  • @KlotzProductions-ooooohh! i have a jund deck!! a oh! solid... ways... *golp*

if you have time could you tell me some?

  • Spred'em is almost an auto loss for jund. Naya lightsaber obviously beats it. Goblin ruinblaster hurts jund real bad when it is on the play and follow it up with ajani vengeant keeping the land tapped is rough. USA Control can beat it as well with all the counter magic like Flashfreeze for any spell and double negative for cascade spells.

  • @KlotzProductions I've seen your videos before and I have to say I don't think you have played enough games against Jund, I am not a Jund player but Naya doesn't consistently beat Jund to say obviously. Also Spread em isn't definite, it's a 50/50, USA has counters but that's just about it. The draw states don't allow answers for every card.

  • My point was that Jund doesn't just beat everything like it used to. I see it lose as much as it wins at my shop.

  • Grixis has swerve which USA could also runs which when used on a blightning can be game ending in itself. A resolved sphinx of jwar isle is really good against jund as well.

  • For some time, I used to have 3 Gatekeeper of Malakir in my SB or my Jund deck just to get rid of those Sphinxes but rarely I could get 3 black mana.. I'm still wondering what is the cheapers and the best way to get rid of them... Should I put Deadly Recluse?

  • Jund is so unfair......I hate how almost everything in the deck is a two for....making it very hard to beat, considering alll the card advantage they gain

  • Jund won't be in the format for much longer. don't worry :D

  • could u post the deck that stan is playing it looks like it would be fun to play

  • I really enjoyed watching this...well crafted, fun to watch, and with a great play-by-play.

  • This seems like a very bad example of what Boros is capable of. Jund seem to be normal though.. with 4+ mana and nothing really to play? Kinda odd for Boros. I would def like to see some more videos!

    Good match though!

  • owned him, btw

  • Foil Elspeth without proper tokens lol :P I like your guy's videos though.

  • At 2:25 why wasn't the Blightning (3 damage) redirected to the Elspeth?

    roflcopterz

  • That was my question as well.

  • thats a pretty Elspith *drool* i wanna make that bushwhacker deck i mean jund is just too cheap

  • Holy shit Jund just wins when it gets a decent hand.

  • more please. I'm curious to see how Jund matches up against some of these zendikar decks.

  • Play Jund against R/W/U control with Swerves and DOJ and Double negative. :P. You should be able to find a deck list somewhere. it's getting popular.

  • Perhaps a Deck Tech Video of the 2 decks will be useful...

  • You guys should make little name tags for each side with life and names, so we know who is who. Its very confusing with just hands to remember whos stan or whatever.

  • moar vids please

  • Why did Stan tap his plains at 0.40? An error in attempting to play fast? Oh well, guess it doesn't really matter as there is no mana burn.

  • correct we noticed it after the video but during testing i guess we didnt catch it.

  • damn it's surprising how great the jund deck can draw or in this case cascade in a tight spot. What was r&d thinking when they created that affect, its almost as broken as affinity.

  • definitely post some more i love your video's

  • hey i love the vids

please keep making more videos and more deck building episodes i really doo appreciate it

  • Yes, continue making more videos so the rest of us can point out your mistakes and feel good about ourselves. lol...

Speaking of which, why did Stan tap his plains when he played goblin guide. on turn two?

  • i know huh...i keep saying that these guys aren{t as good as they think they are

  • This is high quality work -- you simply need to be tighter on your edits. There are many instances in this vid where you hold for 5-8 seconds on shots that should simply not be here. This should be a 3:15 vid, max.

That said, again, good job! :)

  • Thanks for the feedback Evan, i'll try your suggestion out on future episodes.

  • you guys need to make more vids

    good job

  • definitely more videos guys, they are great, thanks

  • since when does bushwhacker play terramorphic expanse? its way too slow, there's a reason it plays 12 fetches.

  • " further videos of this session may follow based on the responses."

    I definitely want more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice vid, hope to see more!

  • no pokemon tokens ?

  • Finally more videos :D

  • The bushwhacker deck looks odd. Terramorphic expance, maindeck elspeth...

Also, blightning should have redirected to elspeth so only the BBE would be needed to kill it. Its a difference of 1 life, but that is still important.

In other news: Make more of these!!!!! They rock!

  • haha sometimes all Jund needs is an insane cascade and all potential play mistakes are forgiven

  • Why not use Blightning to target Elspeth?

  • I'm curious as well.

  • great video. can you give us the deck tech of the boros bushwacker deck. it looks different than the average, all out, version

  • Holy cow, finaly another video.

    Keep the good work guys.

  • Boros Bushwacker sucks balls. Why are people still playing this deck.

  • I dont know but I have seen nother versie of bush deck its look more solid
