@mouman I dont understand why it's a gimmick... gimmicks are things that are over advertised and under deliver. Unless you've used it, then you have no info on the queality of the product.

I also highly doubt that microsoft would put resources into developing a gimmick

why do you need a touchscreen for the computer, its really so much extra work them what can be done with a mouse and keyboard, the only advantage i could see would be drawing, thats it, other then that a touch screen computer does not make my every day computing needs easier in any way EVER!

Acer is not exactly the higher quality company compared to many other computers companies for Windows. Toshiba, Sony, HP, and Gateway are pretty known for quality. Acer, obviously it'll work just fine but in comparison in quality build they say it's Toshiba and Sony.

@gallya Acer is really good, go to newegg and compare user reviews of equally priced acer products. dell hp compaq, these are the walmart brands of computing and most other lesser known companies have them beat... squarely

i have compared to many companies. I've had acer products and i'm not as satisfied with them as sony or higher more known companies. Gateway is the same thing as Acer as gateway was bought out by acer. I've had equally priced products and i seem to like sony, samsung, and toshiba screens. As for gateway i'm not fond of except for computers, and as for computer with acer, i have an hp and i use to have a acer and it already broke down. Acer = 1 year, HP = 3 years, almost 4 years.

I actually thought this was a computer. But that's pretty cool you can just buy a monitor that's touch screen hook it up to your monster machine and just play around. Pretty good. Tech update hurry it up

It looks pretty good, but IDK if it's the camera auto-adjusting or is the screen very dim...

I'm guessing since the room is pretty dark, it's most likely the case.

the room is dark ? do you know how menny high voltage lights are there ?? haha just being able to see what was on the screen was amazing

I said that the room is dark, because the camera auto-adjusted to the brightness of the monitor, which kind of messed up the lighting.
