before the kokoro, it sounds very robot-ish but afterwards, it sounds like a real person...

@HikarixDark It's always a real person... but it's meant to sound like that because she starts singing with emotion after she obtains kokoro. I think they may use autotune for the first part.

It's actually a program called vocaloid. You could just look it up and see I guess.A lot of people have made fan pics for it though which is how I made this vid. XD But, there is also a manga for it called Hatsune Mix.

They're actually not supposed to be siblings (although they look alike) so they're pretty much a couple.

Well, idk. From what I've heard they're not supposed to be related. Also, I mostly found couple pictures on photobucket with them...they are robots though so technically neither is really possible I guess ... but for this vid I just had them as a couple.

Kokoro can have different meanings depending on the context- heart is the most common, but it also can denote emotion, mind, or spirit.

I think the best commonly used English word to capture the meaning here would be "Soul".

Although the archaic definition of "conscience" or "consciousness" would be my choice, since I like the flavor that word would bring to the song.
