  • was that an ADT calander?!?!

  • It's a calendar of dance photography by Lois Greenfield, and the photo for June is of two ADT dancers (it's the only ADT month.) Good eye!

  • i thought so, I met Lois Greenfield when she came to Adelaide (my mum used to work for ADT) and we have a calendar similar to yours

  • Wonderful! Lovin' the second one..with the ahh teal, beacuse her shape and the way you feather the bottom like a wasp is just gorgeous!

  • The teeeeal!!! :)

  • Precious!!!

  • Thanks!

  • cool!

  • I know from experience it's hard to hold a camera whilst drawing.

  • Yep! I usually use a tripod.

  • nice i just noticed i don't remember you painting any males... very detailed wasp. there are poems about queen bees and vespa that use such insects as metaphors for succubus women. lol

  • I've painted a few males but I prefer to stick with women since most of my paintings are somewhat narrative of my own life.

  • these are gorgeous ... i really like the earth toned palette in the unfinished one ... xoxo

  • Thanks Lisa. :)

  • awesome!

  • :) Thanks!

  • may i ask why you like bugs? im just wondering :D

  • Something about their intricacies when you scale them up (or look really close) is very interesting to me. They're easy to ignore because they're always just zooming around but if you stop to actually look at them and how complex and colorful they are it's really beautiful!

  • Spiders.

  • i'm working on that one.

  • I really loved these! Great style!

  • Thanks Tascha!

  • Really interesting. I like insects in art in general. Insects are either feared, hated or overlooked, and they are so intricate and colorful. I really dig them! Good stuff. :o)

  • I lovelove insects! They're one of my favourite things to photograph and that sort of naturally bled into my paintings. There are some insanely beautiful insects out there.

  • I like the new painting Ela...Good stuff!

  • Thanks Chad!

  • sigh...do they make wasp corsets for the fuller fuller beer keg figure, i wonder...oh to have but a tot glass figure i will die a happy woman..sigh

  • The wonderful thing about corsets is that they look great on ANY body and can give anyone the hourglass shape!

  • Ela I love that you have tht giggle/smile you are trying to suppress whilst remaining demure whilst explaining the consept behind these magnificent pieces. ;))(see what a sophisticated audience you have?)I love your work and dont forget to post the video out takes, ;)) have a fantastic week L n Hgs xx00xx
