Alan Jackson is voice perfect for country but is he been pulled in the new country direction. The record people are trying to make money and will produce what sells and as long as its loud and fits into the dance routine it will do, while country music is from the heart and warms the heart of the listener. I find for myself anyway.

@lilianfoody I am sure AJ has experienced that pressure from the various recording companies. Sometimes I wonder if the recording companies want Classic Country to stay a apecific type of Country . It may be that the Record companies make a lot of money from Classic Country songs today. Alan Jackson's music can only enhance Country with , maybe added profits to the Recording industry. Maybe royalties paid to AJ come into play?

I think there are a few who try to maintain a "connection" to Classic Country.

Alan Jackson comes to mind; but, I wonder if his country is a mix of classic and modern country. Only time will tell.
