Gr8stuffis, You are so right! About the PR. I've been wondering about that, because while he is so much better than so many other AI's, he doesn't get the backing. Not from magazine articles or any thing like that. (People mag, US mag, and the other tabloids.) I can't figure it out, can you? I look for 'Gokey' pics and info and I'm always dissapointed. He's doing so well with records, his album, and tours etc., so it's not that he's not a great singer, or popular with loads of fans.

'right backing' as big. I have seen it many times over that people who are on purpose, having a mission that is directed by Spirit, have blessings and help from beyond.. I have even even seen some real scoundrels do really well when associated with people or organizations that are on purpose and have a spirit led mission. With the right PR, Danny could be a very big star.
Danny's CD is epic, there is not one song on it that isn't great to listen to, full of meaning, uplifting, inspirational, and passionate, every song can stand the test of time.
The only thing that would keep this album from becoming an all time best seller is that is is virtually not being promoted. Every person I have sent to listen to some of his songs ends up loving them, and saying they hadn't heard of him, or didn't know he had an album out.
Season 8 was the best for American Idol due to this man right here. Listen to the judges they know who the real winner was. He's amazing. If country don't work for him it does not matter cause he can sing his ass off...

I am so very tired of all the cookie cutter music coming at me on the radio now adays.. Where is the excitement of knowing that a performer is going to be improvising? If i want to listen to something perfected I will fire up the McIntosh and listen to Caruso. I LOVE Dean Brown playing his inspired guitar riffs in a great Jazz Fushion Band. BTW, iLoveMJ131. When MJ did this song he recorded it under the most comfortable conditions, and, as usual, went into his private space and spent countless hours perfecting it. So did the band that were paid handomely to perform. He was driven to do that from the internal Joe Jackson in his head that said he was a complete loser and open for being beaten, if he didn't.

Okay, get this straight. Michael DID NOT have a girl voice. It was high pitched, so what? Its not like he could change his voice. And the songs are better high. Same way there are countless things that I enjoy about Danny, and can listen to the cd I have in my car of his studio sessions and his three Christian songs off of the Tim's cd, day after day after day, and not get sick of it. 2 B honest, i think that MJ's vocal range was limited and he often sang insipid pop songs that rarely ventured outside of a basic pentatonic scale; and while his countles 'driven ' hours to 'perfect' his moves paid off, he was no Baryshnikov. . He was under duress with idol, and all tied up with criticism coming at him, had a cold most of the time; and STILL I like to listen to this song over and over in my car... AMAZING ! I have countless cd's in the car, Pavorotti, Rock, R&B, etc etc to the best of Jazz fusion, and for months now have not been moved to change the Danny cd in the player for any of them.
This was one of the factors that made all of his performances what they were.
Danny, on the other hand came from a Christian background and sex songs were not his thing especially when still suffering from hisvery recent loss. He hardly knew the song, had days to learn it, and put thing together with a band that hardly knew him for this genre.

he Missed so many Notes. He's using a begging voice as if the singer is singing to the girl.... The singer is thinking internally about how is he is going to approach the Pretty young thing.. So the voice should be quite. He is a performer but not an singing artist. If he was a true artist he would have thought about the lyrics and stepped into the role as an actor. Singing is story telling. He has a great voice but not an interpreter of lyric.. No Idol which i guess is why he lost..

LOL Well, Given the fact that Danny was the only 1 never in the bottom 3, and there were only about 1 million votes separating each contestant in the pre final show,and it is proven and even admitted in the ranks of Adam Fans, that both Kris and Adam had a large percentage of power votes cast which gave the stats a 10x advantage, in their favor, it could very well be that there were actually only 3- 5 million voters that voted for Adam or Kris or at least significanly less than 33 + or - a Mil
Couple this with the fact that it is much less likely that Danny's fans are techy enough, or organized and driven enough, such as adam's fans are on the videos, and probably not as deceitful enough to take advantage of this, I would say that even with the dream on scream heard round the world in a genre he was not comfortable with, that Danny probably had a lot more true votes, giving him many more millions of votes, than either of them.
His never being in the bottom 3 supports this idea, especially when u consider that when it came time for Danny's fans to add their votes to Kris or Adam, or not vote at all, I doubt that they went ALL out to power vote for Kris or Adam. Therefore the result' suggests' that Danny's 33 million votes were truer than Adam's or Kris.Since Adam and Kris were about equal the week before, but with Danny's votes he went way over the top, I would think that Danny's true votes were quite sizable..
Hence the result. So I would have to say, that if u think he sucks Yahoop and the new basher in town, u are not part of a large number of people who think otherwise.

The only thing that would keep this album from becoming an all time best seller is that is is virtually not being promoted. Every person I have sent to listen to some of his songs ends up loving them, and saying they hadn't heard of him, or didn't know he had an album out.

2 B honest, i think that MJ's vocal range was limited and he often sang insipid pop songs that rarely ventured outside of a basic pentatonic scale; and while his countles 'driven ' hours to 'perfect' his moves paid off, he was no Baryshnikov. he Missed so many Notes. He's using a begging voice as if the singer is singing to the girl.... The singer is thinking internally about how is he is going to approach the Pretty young thing.. So the voice should be quite. He is a performer but not an singing artist. If he was a true artist he would have thought about the lyrics and stepped into the role as an actor. Couple this with the fact that it is much less likely that Danny's fans are techy enough, or organized and driven enough, such as adam's fans are on the videos, and probably not as deceitful enough to take advantage of this, I would say that even with the dream on scream heard round the world in a genre he was not comfortable with, that Danny probably had a lot more true votes, giving him many more millions of votes, than either of them.

His never being in the bottom 3 supports this idea, especially when u consider that when it came time for Danny's fans to add their votes to Kris or Adam, or not vote at all, I doubt that they went ALL out to power vote for Kris or Adam. Therefore the result' suggests' that Danny's 33 million votes were truer than Adam's or Kris.Since Adam and Kris were about equal the week before, but with Danny's votes he went way over the top, I would think that Danny's true votes were quite sizable..

Whenever I hear a negative comment about Danny Gokey yahoop13, I immediately want to consider the source of where it is coming from., especially when it flys in the face of reality.
