@unitaper haha we own plent of mercs shit head, we own 2 250hp mercury optimaxs that are racing custom built and a 200hp merc EFI on our astro and we have a two 25hps and one 15hp merc. @raplamaster03 first of all mariner and mercury where sharing a building and was the same company and then mercury went to do thunderbolt engines which were compleatly rubbish and mariner where making yamaha engines (now they use toatsu and mod them) which were better and where the most reliable and mariner was the work boats engines eg lifeboats and mercury thunderbolt engines where for the public but the public thought mercury was rubbish and everybody bought mariners and then mercury copied

some of mercs are now tohatsu evinrude e tech are better than mercury

if you look at 1:25 you can see that the 115 and 150 optimax direct injected 2 stokes are MUCH smaller than the 90hp 4 stroke to the right of it.
