I find Perjovschi fascinating... original ideas; expressive drawings; a different look at the world we live in; on a personal level leading to more introspection. It brings to mind Saul Steinberg, another great artist born in Romania. Who can forget his book "The Inspector?"
Brilliant for sure... But can anyone provide a more logical system than capitalism. Capitalism provides an outlet for greed, an unfortunate trait instilled in all (most) of us!
Wow, now that was non-sequitur... But anyways, I'd like if technocracy (technocracy org) was given a shot. As for greed, while some of it is probably really what can be called "human nature" (i.e. the urge to have continuous material non-scarcity), a lot of it just as probably is nurture, the result of having grown up in a system driven by and thus instilling greed. As for outlets, it's just as with violence: If you need it, find a hobby that fits you as a pressure valve.
great exhibit. at first, i didnt think much of it but the fearless honesty of what he and probably a lot of ppl think, expressed in simple almost childlike cartoons, made it humorous, witty and true.
WONDERFUL! We are all allowed of the YouTube and media revolution, but, STOP and think about it just a second... "a second"... IT'S DAMN WONDERFUL!!!! Thank you once again. Keep thinking, keep making, keep changing! -An American artist (because "America" is the continent, not only the USA), CHEERS!
Hi! A comment from Argentina: GREAT VIDEO! Thank you a lot for upload this kind of stuff! I mean, who would imagine 10 years ago, for example, that I could see, or anyone of us in the other side of the contient, this kind of art work, watching it comming real, inside MoMA.
To have a traditional art museum engage an artist in improvisation directly on museum walls in full public view really challenges the notion of the artist as being removed from the people who see his art. Great stuff. Both the artist and the museum reinvent themselves. Reinventing fundamental ideas of intellectual property. Who owns it. The museum (it's their wall). The artist (he created the art). Or the public (in abstract and ephemeral ways, the consumer). Invention. Reinvention, yes!

This guy is genius. Each of his drawings are so very poignant and utterly clever.
