Unbelievable, and the worst thing is to think that your company was supposedly doing everything right! Exterior gates, heavy duty locks, alarm system linked to the police and high-quality CCTV yet they STILL managed to get in and out!!

The quality of the footage surely allowed you to see the full plate of the '(05?) van that did it - did it come to anything?

u need add stainless steel door  4 bolts inside 2 x 1/4 sheet with frame and " C " frame into wall it is very strongest door. I made 2 doors and 2 frames for my business I filled water inside the door because torch can't cut when water get cold they torch on door it take longer to cut though.

Except that it's a fake number plate - it's already been checked. The letters dont even line up properly.

Even if it was a genuine plate, the chances are it would have been a stolen vehicle, or at least not registered to those in the video.

A lot of thieves steal a vehicle the same night that they need some transport, then ditch it a few hours later.

I agree. It's easy to steal a license plate off another vehicle and to steal a car and swap the plates. Plus they'd be idiots not to. Not sure about the uk but some number plate systems have certain letters for certain colours. ie starting with A for white, B for silver, C for Red, etc etc. Easy to spot a stolen plate that way.

You couldn't be MORE WRONG !! None of it was insured, and this is quite normal in the consumer electronics industry (ie same as Currys / Dixons etc). Can you imagine the annual premium on all the stock carried by the likes of Currys. It would be astronomical. Most electrical retailers have no insurance for their stock, relying on decent security and managed / monitored alarm systems. Pity the local police took over 20 minutes to arrive.

Yep. One of the Sanyo's was an overseas model, inadvertently shipped to us with a delivery of UK stock.

The other 2 had a single pixel defect (most retailers would have accepted, but we wont).

The large Hitachi box contains a faulty Daewoo plasma.

It was wall mounted at the customers, so had no stand. It had to be stored vertically in an old Hitachi box for protection.

Strictly speaking, all plasmas should be transported in the vertical plane. They shouldn't be moved when horizontal.
