If your bill says Earthlink on it, and they have cashed them before then I wonder why they won't cash this one...I work for Time Warner Cable, well installations, so I don't know why exactly but it doesn't add up.... :/

lol time warner is a load of bull shit, they say that stuff like internet and phones and cable can work together, its like they lied on purpose, when ever my bro gets on his computer and i go to play cod online, i have 1 bar of connection its horrible and when ever hes not on its not as bad but i still lag sometimes. we even called them and told them to fix this bullshit, they claim to but i still lag. then later we pay an extra 10$ to get faster internet. dosnt work... fuck u time warner cable.

Yeah, I just called those bastards. I have had cable throught comcast then time warner for 6 years. They recently cut off 30 of my channels without notice and said that that's what I get for basic cable. I'm losing time warner and gettin an hd tv instead of paying for the 30 channels I get for free and the 5-10 channels I get for my $20 from time warner...

Class action lawsuits in Los Angeles! When they started up it didn't work for three months, then it dribbled like a dialup connection, then after a personal phone call, they turned it back on to the speed we got from Adelphia but they called it their "premium service" and we'd have to pay more for what we had cheaper in the first place without them. Great. And they cap uploads to 50k/sec so you wair forever if you use bittorrent. Yukk

I completely agree with everything this chick is saying but not totally with how you is handling the situation. The Time Warner Monopoly Machine took over Adelphia in my our area (zero problems before the takeover) and it has been a headache every day since. My cable and internet have gone out repeatedly and it is always (so the tech says when he arrives) my pc, or my splitter, or my cables, or my tv or anything that would move the blame from them. We had 7 tech appointments in one month.....

....and they never did fix the problem. Finally I figured out that by reaching out my second floor window and jiggling the drop from the pole everything would come back on for a little while. After calling them to say to cancel our service a crew shows up the next day to run a new drop from a different pole. All was good for a few months but now we lost our lower channels, internet sucks (should be 5mbs and best I have ever seen is 550kbs) and the bill has gone up nearly $20 in a year. FUCK TWC!

Then, you should´t get angry on poor little boys who take your calls since they are simply doing they job, getting paid less than 2 bucks an hour (if indian, or south american) and the impact of one single call could really make a difference on their paychecks.

Being said that, I agree with you. they are the most greedy suchy corporation in the whole fucking world, they own everything from the magazines you read to the movies you watch

From working in a TWC collections agency, normally if you are 2 months behind, your service is disconnected, then sent to the credit bureaus. If you pay within that first month or two, then you should be fine. If nothing else, use a credit card. It's not just TWC that does this either, it is practically every other company out there. Business is business for them...nothing more, nothing less.

Great video.  I worked for a collections agency for Time Warner for a while and I was in awe at how bad TWC would rip people off. For example, if an account holder dies...the family is responsible for paying the remaining bill and can't cancel the service without presenting a death certificate. Yea...I quit that job. I was tired of making money for a company that has such horrible customer service. I do like their RR service though. LoL

I used to work at a bank, and you have to make it out to the company that is owed the money, a check written to a company has to be deposited into an account of the same name, it is the law.
