i was singing this the whole last week :D I looove Regina and I live in finland. We have a cottage, and it's about 20 kilometres from the border of finland and russia. :) anyway, my dad can speak in russian (somehow:D) and I kept asking him what do these lyrics mean. I will learn to speak in russian someday! =)

LOVE REGINA. I've loved her music for 3 years now and it's unbelievable how much I STILL love her music. Sometimes I feel like the love dwindles a bit bu then t I have a bad day and her music is always the cure. it will always be in my life. I don't know what I would do without her music! This song is amazing. I never new Regina Spektor could sing, like REALLY sing until I heard this song. And the song 2.99 Cent Blues. I think she has a light voice in songs like "Fidelity" and "Samson," and that really works, but people never actually hear the non-famous sons that give her an AMAZING voice.

I love this song!! and especially this version with anders griffin on drums. Makes it so powerful. "I came in from the rain which wasn't really rain, it was this january snow in denial"... so strong lyrics. And "spots a stranger in the mirror". That's really how you can feel sometimes. Like nothing is real, and everything is fake - even the snow. Where did the real world go?
