When I switched dentists shortly after, he found out that I didn't have a tooth abscess at all but instead had an infected cut at my gumline. If you need surgery in your mouth, more often than not, its from periodontal, AKA a lack of hygiene. I couldn't see it real well, but it looked like there was a pimple on the gums. If so, that was an opening of a fistula formed from the absess to the gums to drain the excess fluid and relieve the pressure. I have a root canal treated tooth that still has gets an infection above the root and does that when I have my teeth cleaned. There's nothing they can do except remove the tooth or give me antibiotics before cleanings. Root canals aren't the solution.
i tried to pop my own with a pin but mine is 50 xs smaller then that thats for sure but the pain is fuckin unbearable i popped 5 tylenol 3's and still have to keep a can of ice cold pop on my jaw... should i see blood come out first ide imagine mine to be the size of maybe half of a pea spread out over a cm

I had no camera on hand cause it popped suprisingly, but I can tell it was the most awful thing I´v ever experienced. I was bending over the sink and every time I squeezed my face the puss was squirting out. NIGHTMARE, but what a relief!

Popping anything on the face/head is really dangerous because the infection can get into the blood stream and go straight to your brain. My mother knew a lady who died from popping a zit. It's rare, but it does happen.

I had an abcess tooth and instead of going up through the tooth it went down through my jaw bone, took them 2 years and 3 surgeries to figure it out, they finally pulled the tooth when they realise the toxins where killing me....I'm sorry u had to go through that, those f*****s hurt!
