Very nice. So, everyone's giving it a crack - it was Bach's supreme work-everything is in there-so why not? It takes courage and skill to pull this off and the only one I have seen do it to perfection is Julian Bream , but that should not deter any guitarist from trying.Beautiful guitar.
your melodic lines are broked... i dont know why you stop ... it sounds like a lot of parts and your afination is not the best... it has no energy in the powerfull moments... you can play a best version ... work on it!!!!!!!
The Chaconne has become a torture in the last 50 years.Everybody is playing it...and basically everybody has the same thing to say.
As if...someone with a micron of a slightly beautiful more tone would suddenly lift up his audience. This performance is as good as the rest, nor any better.
Dear SmithSherman, I don't agree with these comments; it's probably not the best forum for my point of view - someone's performance - but my view, having waited for over 30 years before feeling ready to begin this work, is that virtually no guitarists get close to revealing anything about it. There is simply no comparison with performances by string and keyboard players - and yet the guitar should/could be the perfect medium. As you rate my friend Giulio Tampalini so highly I offer my thoughts
bravo ! félicitations pour la maitrise technique et la musicalité .
